And that's in the present, not the year 2600 or whatever it is in Halo.
While i agree that the BR spread needs to be fixed, your statement above is incorrect. In "real life" you do have to lead your rifle shots at anything over 50 yrds that is running. I'm an avid hunter, and there is no question about it. If i were to aim and fire at a large game animal where i'm supposed to hit it for a clean shot, i'd end up hitting it in the butt. I have to lead half the animals length in front, in order to hit it in the heart.
Agree 1 yes you're right over 50 yards!!! 2 Yes when running 3 yes both of these happen in this time with your rifle Against 1 Often the bullet spreed is under 50 yards, far under. 2. running animal, not a slow moving animal. 3 A military rifle in the year 2600 is worse than your rifle 2008.
True. But it is more like 25yrds, if the animal is running. And you are right, the MC's speed is no where near the running speed of a large animal. I actually loved having to lead my shots in Halo 1, with the pistol. The biggest problem i see with the BR is the 3 round burst, and to top it off the spread. This combined with the netcode equals a lot of bullets that never reach their target... phantom bullets.
