Recommend me a decent laptop

I know nothing about computers. The maximum amount of money I plan on spending is $450 (although I'm willing to go up to $500 or even $550 if necessary). I plan on using this laptop for school and the occasional gaming. By gaming, I don't mean games that require a lot of "resources", for lack of a better term, such as Skyrim. I'm talking about games like Elder Scrolls Online and Minecraft. So, recommend me a laptop Flood.

What kinds of games could that laptop run?
>Gaming >Laptop PICK ONE!
This phrase is getting very annoying. First, some people need mobility (go to two houses, etc). Second, you can get a good laptop for gaming without much cost (see http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Gaming_Powerhouse/G74SX/, which can run Battlefield 3 on ULTRA at 40FPS) Sure they cost more, but you CAN HAZ BOTH!!1
