My question is what made Microsoft choose to pull the plug on the downloadable content servers so soon? Shutting Xbox Live access down for the original games and giving us two months notice, unfortunate but understandable -- but why then yank DLC access immediately after making the announcement? This is when everybody is gonna want to collect their things for safekeeping before the time comes that they cannot download them again.
There's other great stuff than just Halo 2 maps too, like the Hurricane Packs for the original Ninja Gaiden or the extra campaign missions for Splinter Cell. This is stuff that can be played offline but cannot be obtained offline, I think its garbage that they just pulled the plug like that. They need to reverse the decision and give the subscribers some time to make sure they have everything first.
