Happy Halo Day!
It's hard to believe that it's been five whole years since Bungie unleashed Halo on the world! To celebrate this momentous occasion we've got a few small announcements that may be of interest to fans of the series as well as a little screenshot from a game we like to call Halo 3.

looks like bungie is doing this one right... but that picture may reveal something as to the campaign, rusty pipes look like earth to me.

Yeah, Bungie is trying to -blam!- everyone's mother. They are teh evil empire of the Business world. Oh God, after a year of working on new products they should right off the bat give away maps to the people who are too cheap to buy an xbox. They are so crazy! Seriously people, you've had a year to save up. By putting $1.10 a day (Close enough) into a jar or bank account, you could have afforded a 360 by now. It dose cost Bungie to make this stuff, and it's not like the concept of releasing a NEW SYSTEM is new. Seriously, if anything complain to Sony about their $650 (With tax) system. Back on topic, when exactly did they say the commercial was going to be on? (what exact time, not day)

I also am pissed about the new maps only being on the 360. Yet another lame step by Bungie. Also: "Halo 2 for Windows Vista" daaaaaaaaamn. I'm sure there will be some sort of unneccesary check to ensure that only those who have dished out the cash for Vista will be able to play the game. Way to go Bungie. You won the sell-out competetion.

Well, I for one am done with Microsoft. I'm rather disappointed by this step (the new maps), because all it does is splitting the already dwindling player population in two. At a price of ~350 Euros (without a new game no less) for the 360, I will turn back to computer gaming. I could afford WOW or something similar for YEARS for that kind of money. Thank you MS, it has been a fun time - but I think I will keep my money, thanks very much. EDIT: To the poster right underneath me: No. But thanks for the suggestion. [Edited on 11/17/2006]

Question for the Bungie dudes. I am not in the position to obtain the 360 yet (Yes, some people need to pay their rent etc, even with a job, it doesn't mean I'm able to pay the big bucks just like that.) so does that mean I will not be able to play MM on my old X-box any more when the new maps come out? That would be a SERIOUS disappointment, to use an understatement of Halosize proportions. I would appriciate an answer to that burning question. There's a second reason why I'm not playing 360 yet. With the forementioned bugs plagueing the 360 emulator, and seeing the problems friends have when playing Halo 2 over 360 ("A player in your party failed to load the map" anyone?) I'll bide my time with the old X-box until H3 comes.

So I think the reflection detail is still there but theres just not much in front of him to reflect. As for demos, there was a demo back in 2002 that first got me playing this old heap and I've been crouch jumping over my pets and my furniture ever since.

I havn't made the switch yet either..and it makes me sad its not comeing out for us..yet, or ever possably..but Bungie had little say in the matter...it was Microsoft that made that decsicion and we all know Microsoft, like any huge Corp., is all about the BLingBling. BUT THEY ARE STRANGLEING THE XBOX. AND IT SUCKS REAL BAD. Bungie people I love you.
