I want to get one or the other, but whatever choice I make is a little costly. I don't have Halo 2 anymore, so getting XBC will require me to find and buy a copy of Halo 2, which is pretty rare these days. Halo 2 Vista is easier for me to find, and play. However, I want to get the more populated version.
Posted by: FlabCaptain I set up XBC a few days ago. It actually wasn't as tough as I originally thought it was going to be (that's what kept me from trying to get it working before). Halo 2 seems to always be the most popular game there. The most lobbies I've seen online was 19 or 20, with 1 or 2 games being played within each lobby. Seems like a small community, but it's pretty cool.
Sorry to be so very off topic, but I must salute the awesome handle. Everything's gotten so dry and beleaguered around here, it's nice to have a laugh at something. The idea of someone writing a thoughtful and serious response, knowing it's going under the heading of "FlabCaptain," well, that's just gold Pony Boy...
Posted by: Hiro TDK I set up XBC yesterday. There are six servers on all of XBC; four Halo 2 servers and two Halo: CE servers. Of those four, one I could not connect to, one was sitting in the pre-game lobby for hours, and the other two were MLG gametypes on Lockout. P.S. I accidentally reported your post. Sorry, I just woke up.
I don't mind so much about the report. There a forum police who report practicly anything, especially on The Flood. So one report won't do much harm. And thanks for the stats guys, much appreciated.

Once you've installed the game 5 times you have to buy a new copy. Probably one of the biggest annoyances with the game. - Some mods such as a ranking system and a partially done LIVE co-op are available. I don't know about XBC as i could never get it working, but hopefully someone will compare to the points i made...if that hasn't put you off already.
