dude, the arbiter was always there. In all the books, and in all of the games. Halo 4 had a medium style campaign for Halo because it had a lot of action and nice characters. Multi-Player was extremely nice with all UNIQUE GAME TYPES. I love multiplayer because it is actually different and fun. It was always the same in all the games and i was glad they changed it up a bit and you should to if your such a Halo fan.

Totally agree, the numbers online just show how bad it is, barely 15000 online at any time! Halo Reach gets that many players as well! Definitely getting PS4, Halo was the only reason I bought XBOX...

I don't think they've ruined Halo, I think they are Still Ruining it and won't stop until they have Sucked our beloved Franchise dry of every cent they can get, and I also think it doesn't fell enough like a Halo Game, I mean people being digitalised, seems like they took that straight form the Final episode for the Tenth Doctor (the Time lords were going to Digitalise them selves or something) and yeah they Copied COD, a lot, but despite this I doubt that Bungie will come back, at least not until they are done with Destiny, but then I'm not sure if Halo will last that long, but if it does, there will be a lot of #%^* to clean up...

I have to agree with Blazinviper, because the story line didn't follow up with halo 3 nor halo: reach. And bungie has always been good at creating the halo franchise. But 343 had to come in and add all these enemies that just appeared out of no where from that planet. One thing halo 4 just, horrible. I am pretty sure halo 5 will be like this.

Does any bungie employee read these forums or is there any better way to contact them even though I respect 343 and Microsoft. I feel like they could of done a better job, but I did like Halo 4 to some extent and I am sure Halo 5 will be decent. But I am very worried about the future of Halo cause this is a game franchise that I made a lot of good friends with in 4 years and we loved to play halo all the time, but ever since bungie sold halo to Microsoft it was never the same. Don't get me wrong I love some of the features they have added to halo 4 and what they are going to add for halo 5. But I think Bungie shouldn't just focus on the future of the Destiny franchise and Bungie should also remember one of its famous stories and that is the Halo franchise. I know Bungie is a successful game company, but I feel like Bungie is forgetting the Halo Community, but all I want is for Halo to have some of Bungies ideas and its actual original material that we know and love. So Bungie please come back to Halo before your legacy is gone forever. Cause you started a gaming phenomenon since the start of 2000. Thank you for the readers time hopefully a bungie employee has read this forum and might help us fight this battle of ours.

im posting this when it is 2015 and yes I know this is an old topic, but if this is still active at all I have a few words to say. Halo 5 pretty much SUCKS. So I have no more faith in 343. At first when I played the beta I like it. When I first got halo 5 I loved it. But then I played through the campaign. It was way too easy. Way too fast to finish. The story to it? IT WAS SH**. All you play as is Spartan Locke for fuc* sake. You only play as master chief for a little bit. The armor is still stupid. You can't barley customize you character. Emblems suck. Warzone is the dumbest thing in the history of gaming. You still don't need to memorize where power weapons are. There are booster packs and all of this other bull which isn't halo and is not original. The forunners are still dumb and always will be. The Covenant still look dumb. EVERYTHING IS AS MESSED UP AS HALO 4. Only small good changes. Otherwise, halo 5 sucks. 343 sucks. So here is my point. Unless 343 stop sitting on their bums not doing anything other than making halo a complete disgrace, halo is dead. So GET OVER HERE BUNGIE!!! *mortal combat reference* and I'm not going to get into anything about the modern warfare collection (master chief collection) other than kill everyone before we all die slowly from knowing that it exists. And after waiting so long for a better halo. So damn long. They failed again. And by the way to the people who said reach sucks and halo 4 isn't that bad, WHO DA FUK DO U THINK YOU ARE?! And who ever thinks 5 is good just go somewhere where I can't see anything that has to do with you. Please. Also i take halo very seriously and I really love halo so that's why I'm being such a prick about it. And I guess people didn't say halo 4 was good but they still said it was ok. That's not ok to say it was ok. Except I do enjoy it once in a while. And same for 5. And to make this clear yes I do know that the forunners were always a part of halo but I don't like 343s take at them. As much as people are Going to say "stop complaining and deal with the fact that halo is dead" I'm not going to except the fact that it is dead because I really like this game and I don't want it to be ruined by these guys in 343. I'm not going to be easy going with 343 anymore they've caused too much damage and enough is enough.

First i will highlight some of the good things 343 have done, before i get into all the crap. Firstly my favorite part is the soundtrack from halo 4 specifically the song 117, it felt like a true piece of halo, secondly halo 5 multiplayer i actually enjoyed ( no where near as good as halo 3, i mean does anyone remember playing jenger) thirdly i liked master chiefs new armor, why they needed to change it at the start of the game i have no idea (or even change it at all) but its still a sweet design and finally the master chief collection 343 seem to do a good job of putting amazing visuals on the new games which i appreciate, minus halo 4 its actually a good game without the multiplayer of course. Okay things i do not like the stories, why did they need to change everything like the design of the forward unto dawn or the or why your still fighting the covenant with no real explanation and correct me if i am wrong i am just going on the games and not the books but wasn't master chief suppose to be the last spartan (not including the new crappy ones of course) so why is his squad back in halo 5, would of made far more sense to bring jun back into it with buck on chiefs side, and how halo 5 and 4 lack any of that halo "magic" seen even in ODST which i actually enjoyed. Armor customization, why oh why have they thinned it out, halo reach was a perfect example of how a good armor customization system worked and the art style, i get that they are new Spartans with brand new armor and i like that but why did you have to take out and change the originals just to put your own mark on it. i've gone back to playing reach now and am revisiting the master chief collection. i know its not going to happen but please go back to making the halos we enjoy.

Bungie is shit. I'd much rath have 343 deal with Halo now. The story has been there since CE, do you not pay attention? Everything in Halo 4 makes perfect sense if you read the terminals in Halo 3 and watch the legendary ending.
