Since I've been seeing a lot of anime threads recently. I though
I would make a thread so we can have it all in one place. So
Flood post anything anime related in this thread.
I personally like Shakugan no Shana its my number one anime.
Most IMPORTANT RULES - Ignore the haters of anime. I don't want
this thread to turn into a flame war.
Do not ask for Download Links.

What Waifu means.
I'll update this as best as I can with new recommendations.
Please be sure to add the genre next to the anime you suggest.
Genres:
Slice of Life - Term means stuff you would normally see in real
life.
Mecha/Mech - Term means Giant Robots Gundam and EVA come to mind.
Yaoi - MxM love
Yuri - FxF love
Harem - All girls go after the main character
Posted by: Etrnlknightmare I'd just like to say I saw the first 2 Berserk movies just now, and they were amazing. I saw them subbed, because I can't -blam!- find the dub version of the first, and I found the second full movie in some remote corner of YouTube. The first movie started great, but the -blam!-y pace ruined the rest of the movie. It was also awkwardly short, as well as dull at some points because the music failed. The anime did everything this movie did better, but the sound effects, animation, and general production values of the film are nothing to sneeze at, impressing me a great deal. Still, the pacing botched it. 7/10 The second movie fixed absolutely everything the first one did. The pacing was superb, the action was aplenty, and it ran for a very satisfying length. The music works at every part, and the cgi doesn't distract, and does a really good job of what it does. I could hardly tell if it was being used at times. The movie also held plenty of Easter eggs for those who'd read the manga. It was great. 11/10 As Berserk being my absolute favorite anime/manga of the handful I've seen, I was let down by the first movie, only to be blown away by the second. By all means watch the first, if only to see the second. I would not recommend these movies if you haven't read the manga, as you'll miss a bit of the intended references, but that's more of a recommendation to read the manga than a discouragement to watch the movies. I'll definitely pick these up for myself when all 3 are dubbed, and you should too.
Thank you for the review Knightmare. It sucks the first movie didn't live up to your expectations. Hopefully you really enjoyed the second one.

Also, I say watched the dubbed version because the voice actors from the anime are returning, and those guys were phenomenal, and generally admired by even some if the most picky anime connoisseurs.
