343 Industries is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for creating and perfecting online multiplayer experiences. The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with an existing design and sustain team to help maintain and support Halo's existing multiplayer experiences, as well as the future implementation of new experiences. Additional responsibilities include hopper management and synthesizing community feedback and player data to inform gameplay recommendations. As a member of the Sustainment Team, you will get to interface with community members, designers, Franchise Management and test teams, so legendary communication and organizational skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sustainment Team to maintain multiplayer experiences by recommending optimizations based on community feedback and player data
- Work across several additional teams to ensure quality
- Provide regular formal and informal matchmaking updates to the community across multiple channels
- Maintain a healthy relationship with the community and its varied subsets

Halo's sandbox, however, has historically promoted the use of ONE weapon and a few power weapons. This is not the fault of MLG. This is the poor sandbox design from Bungie. 90% of Halo's sandbox is useless in multiplayer.

Being a community guy, he'll likely be bringing certain feedback and offering a different perspective, but not in a way that would overstep his position.

[/quote] You seem to be insinuating that he is going to be opening source code and entering new strings of data, or adding new polygons to texture models. That's something that comes with an education and degree. What Bravo knows - like many other competitive players - is how the game plays competitively and what settings [u]under the currently provided tools[/u] would best benefit both communities. It has nothing to do with knowing 'more' than the developers, but everything to do with being an well educated in that field. That comes from playing competitively, which is something developers [i]don't[/i] have expertise in. Why do you guys fail to understand this and become so emotionally biased towards them? It's cool if you don't like competitive Halo, but saying he is 'just some other guy' is a wrong statement. When you go back and complain about balance on a certain map, guess who's the guy to analyze that feedback? He is. He'll provide his competitive insight, as well as suggestions, testing, and player feedback to ([i]*gasp*[/i]) the developers so [i]they[/i] make the necessary changes.
