I'm not even interested in multiplayer any longer, I just log on to play Spartan Ops since I'm interested in the story. Same for Halo 4 itself. Didn't like how the multiplayer was looking, so I set my expectations low. I'll still get Halo 5 I think, but just for the campaign/story.

that's what they get for trying to make a game for the audience that's gonna leave you in a weeks time.

Oh the whiners and their lack of good arguments.
So you're saying that every game with guns in it, People think its a cod copy.... Loadouts Kill cams stupid rank systems Weapons like saw.
Not to mention perks and gun Camos. Also OP, I'm not surprised, Halo is great and all but it's not a fresh idea anymore. It would be great if Microsoft gained some new IPs.

Wow. Didnt think it was possible for the flood to cut under the idiocy levels of which waypoint is, even they know better than this.

Sorry, not very good with charts and whatnot, care to explain?
Unique players = The amount of individual Gamertags that have played the game over 24 hours. The OP posted a chart which shows peak and hourly population levels.
Which consists of unique players.
What? Unique Users = Every single person who has been online, whether at 1 AM or 1PM, and all throughout the day. Peak Population = Highest amount of players surveyed over a 24 hour period online at once.

Something like reticle bloom ruined the game, because it added a factor of randomness to the game. All of the things you said, however, do not affect the game too poorly, as it doesn't add any randomness to the game. Back in H3, everyone complained about AR starts. Loadouts fixed that problem. Don't like ordnance drops? Play Slayer Pro. You don't like the POINTS SYSTEM? Well deal with it. It makes no difference to gameplay. Don't like insta respawn? Slayer Pro. Don't like perma-sprint? It made the game faster, which was dearly needed after Reach. Seriously though, the core gameplay is the same, just faster. None of the things you stated ruin the game.
Point and argument to boot.
lol you casuals

Quite logical that the population dropped after this year's other gargantuan shooter sequel appeared, considering how (mysteriously) popular it is.

Ouch...but I can see why people have stopped playing it. I stopped playing it because the game got boring waaay too fast. Halo 4's matchmaking didn't stick with me.

You have to admit that Halo 4 is still pretty -BLAM- rad. Maybe you don't like it as much as Reach/3/2/CE but it is still it's own game and fun to play. My two cents. No one prolly cares but I thought I'd give it a go lol
-
Not surprised. Not that Halo 4 is a bad game, but come on. BlOps 2 came out a week after. I'm not saying that Cod is better, it is just hyped more.
-
Not surprised the game is a slap in the face to the halo community.
Posted by: xMLGx Pro I never quite understood why people obsess with a online game's "population" numbers. So long as there are ~100 people online, you're pretty much good to go.
Because other people not playing the game apparently justifies why they shouldn't play the game.
Posted by: AK 47625714
Posted by: RighteousTyrant OP has apparently never seen post-launch population trends for any game at all, because if he had he would know that this is basically expected. Haha, it's less than Reach six months ago.

Im not surprised. Reach failed, why would Halo 4 do any better when it took what made it bad and made it worse.
