Posted by: AH4L
Posted by: Jose291 By now, the game should be in beta testing, if that was the case.
I doubt it would be in Beta yet. Remember, we've still seen nothing 'official' about the game until this point... Bungie generally releases a teaser way out, like 2 years. My guess is 2014, which would put a beta test far away yet.
The contract says "the game is due 2013" so by now they should be in beta testing... Besides, I found all this info to suspicious...

That's pretty awesome.

Nope. It's from May 15, 1700. It's trivial to change file metadata, so there's no reason Bungie couldn't have (especially when they know it's one of the first places people will look). Similarly, the touch program is also the reason why academics cannot trust students when they claim they finished their work on time but couldn't submit it. Don't trust it.

I don't see a reason why this is a thread at all, mainly because of my assertion in A. ©

Was Photoshop CS6 even available in 2009?

How did you view the date at which the image was uploaded?
Posted by: dazarobbo It's from May 15, 1700.
Interesting. [Edited on 11.28.2012 7:51 AM PST]

X/X/1700 is obviously bogus, but created in '09 and edited yesterday (presumably to clean it up for release and add the Bungie and Destiny watermarks) is completely plausible and absent contradictory evidence I don't see why you wouldn't, in this case, trust that info.

Look at the last three questions in this mailsack. Something is in a beta.

I really don't see why this is a surprise to anyone here. The Destiny logo can be dated all the way to Halo 3 through the bonus disk. That was 2007. Concept art is the first things to be made, content wise, in any project.

They created it back in 09 and have been modifying it over time.
