The first is that my dad is an atheist. Me and him are the only atheists in the family.
The second is a little more important. You see, some really crappy girly sing came on the radio, and I said "That's something my cousin would listen to." My dad responded by stopping the car (he was taking me to school) and he looked VERY serious. He told me that last week, my cousin had kind of come out of the closet in front of my dad and my sister. He said that he hadn't told anyone else and I should stay quiet. He said he would officially come out when he graduates.
So, what do I do? I really can't make any -blam!- jokes around him at all. He's also the first ghey person in our family, BTW.

so your father stopped the car just to tell you this, sounds kind of over dramatic..maybe hes -blam!- too [Edited on 11.19.2012 5:26 PM PST]

You learnt you are an atheist? I don't understand how someone can just ignore anything to do with a greater power. Like, even if you are certain there's no God, but have one per cent hope that there is one...

Bite the pillow.

I would carry on with life and disown the cousin. Seriously, what a shame to the family.

I don't think they will care my brother I think forgot or never gave a -blam!- and we are very far from liberal.

Don't mention homo-blam!-ity in front of him then except when some asshat says something bad about it.
-
I'd suggest not caring that your cousin is -blam!- and treat him the same way you always have. Why should that make any difference?
-
Surprise -blam!-? Surprise -blam!-.
