Extended Darkness.
Okay, so a lot of you have heard the rumors that Destiny will launch next Fall, witch means we'll be seeing trailers and updates relitively [i]Soon(TM)[/i].
This is just a scary thought I figured I'd share with you guys but... what if the rumors aren't, how some would say, accurate? It's not uncommon. But what if Destiny wont [i]launch[/i] next Fall, but that's when they are going to [i]announce[/i] it?
Could you take another year of the Great Darkness?

I wouldn't bother signing in until a week before it's release. A game developer's website with no game to talk about other then the community it's self - which is nothing special, yeah..fun.

I highly doubt Bungie intended to stay dark this long as it is. I bet Bungie is waiting for next-gen hardware, although I'm sure there have been some internal setbacks. If Bungie doesn't say anything at the VGA's (and I highly doubt they will), then we're going to be in for at least another 6 months of darkness. [Edited on 11.18.2012 8:55 PM PST]

Meh, it would be ok by me. If it gets delayed it would mean they are using extra time to make Destiny even more amazing.

[/quote] I don't see any good arguments why he thinks the game will not ship in 2013. Still even if Destiny is moved to 2014, it will probably be Q1. So we can still expect the first light end 2012 early 2013.

Bungie isn't allowed to breach a contract they have with Activision and I doubt a new one was drawn up between now and June of this year. It's Fall 2013. © [Edited on 11.17.2012 8:12 PM PST]

The rumours came from leaked law documents. Those documents detail a release of Destiny in 2013. So it they we're pretty accurate rumours. The thing is there's nothing stopping Activision and Bungie setting up a new release schedule in light of the leak. Unlikely but possible. We're hoping something to show up at the VGA's in a couple of weeks.
