•
Posted by: robby118 Neat! I love animations, they never fail to pique my interest. I especially liked the Drone one. The Brute shield would have made a very cool addition. :)
Ditto, i like to try and spy all the frames, where the creatures are in each frame. Of course that's very hard as it's moving at 30fps but i still enjoy doing that wherever animation is.
Posted by: Rangar I am currently 17 and have been taking all computer classes I can get. I have always had a fascination with all aspect required to make a successful game. I was wondering though how important is drawing talent in computer animation. I mean I've made animations with programs like Alice, Flash and some other half ass game making programs and have made some pretty satisfying stuff. But when it comes to a pen and paper well I can make a stick figure and maybe a rock but that's it. If drawing is an important skill to have for animation how can I improve myself in that aspect for I can one day work my magic at in the bowels of Bungie....
It depends upon your technique of getting it from concept to animation. I would probably do better with the whole mirror/video camera and the words, to drawing, to animation. So think about how you get your ideas and turn them into animations.
