Any theories on when, or if Jun will ever return to Halo?
I might not be aware of it, but is there any novels which he is in perhaps?

343i have not adopted it as official canon. Levi's stuff is great, but not canon.

Or something along those lines.
Actually, Frankie said they have absolutely no plans to do anything with Jun. All logical evidence points to him being dead anyway, while there's no outright source stating that he is dead, there's overwhelming evidence pointing to there being no other option but him being dead. He's not with Halsey at CASTLE Base when Red Team arrive, and he doesn't escape the planet with them when Chief arrives in the Ascendant Justice when the last off-planet exfiltration craft on the continent was the Pillar of Autumn beforehand. I don't know why anyone would want such a horrid character to return anyway. Not only was he the dullest 'character' in Noble Team, he served absolutely no role in the 'story' of the game at all.
Here ya go.
I like this.
You made it sound like you thought 343i created it. Jesus ...

How dare the thought of developing Jun into a well-rounded character even exist! Second chances are absolutely stupid. Secondly, Halsey said she elected to stay behind while CASTLE was evacuated, in case someone needed to activate WHITE GLOVE and destroy the base. Since Jun gets Halsey to CASTLE before it is evacuated (if not, then that would mean that Halsey could not elect to stay behind and that no one was left defending the base, which is even stupider) there is the chance that Jun left with the rest of CASTLE's occupants.
What Xd said. There were still people at CASTLE Base when Halsey arrived as she volunteered to stay behind...and as far as I know 343i didn't change that line of dialogue when they re-released First Strike. So seeing as there were still people at CASTLE when they arrived, and Jun isn't there and it's so very incredibly unlikely that he died enroute to the base, Jun very likely left as an escort to the people evacuating CASTLE Base...whether he survived or not, or they did we don't know, plenty of people did actually get off of Reach.

I really, really do not know why Bungie didn't outright kill him. Another of Reach's uncountable failures I suppose.

Seeing as how it's a memorial to those who died on Reach, it's very likely. Also, you find an Emile on that wall, too. I think I took a screenshot of it, it might be in my files.

Fair enough,I'd love for him to come back. Make some epic return into the Universe. Although it would've made more sense if all of Noble Team had fallen, but oh well.
