Not little green men, but a fossilized coral reef, which may or may not even be fossilized yet.
Was discovered when Curiosity found evidence of a once waist-deep streamline.

Partial confirmation. However, they think it might be a piece of the rover that broke off. Sorry, but the OP's link is fake as hell. I tend not to trust websites with N@zi symbols on them. The stereotypical baptist rantings are just the icing on the cake.

So much excitement crushed in a second.

this isnt special news.. mars was once a living planet until the atmosphere died out. now everything is dead...including that once living thousands of years or millions ago fossil

Cool! It's not sentient life but if it's coral then there has to be water.

If this is true, it is the most amazing thing ever.

This excites me very much. What bothers me, is that churches are speaking against it. "Satan put that there"....... I believe in God, but because the bible only mentioned life on our planet, does not mean life on another is an impossibility. It's like reading a cookie recipe and because there is no mention of cake, obviously the cake is a lie. (Yeah I so did that) [Edited on 10.09.2012 3:28 PM PDT]

Almost all religions encourage scientific endeavors, especially Catholicism, Judaism, and Islam.

I'm pretty skeptical. One reason is because I never even seen that sight before. I should go and submit this to Snopes.
Posted by: DarkestSeptagon They found a fossil. Not a currently living organism.
But it was once living, it shows that Mars did have life. OT: Cool. And lol at the comment by "Mitt Romney" on that page.

I await a legitimate, scientific source to confirm this. If it's true, this is the greatest day of my life. If it's not, disappointment.
Posted by: x Foman123 x Extremely sketchy link. Extremely sketchy story. Will wait for confirmation from a real news source.
This many times over. I would be suprised if it turns out to be real, considering a quick google search doesn't turn up anything but that exact article. If it were true I would expect the internet to be ablaze with the news. However I can't deny my heart made a small sumersault of excitement when I first read the article. It always does whenever I hear stuff about life on mars. [Edited on 10.09.2012 4:24 PM PDT]

Well, Mars apparently did have some oceans before, so it makes sense. I hope that there is still life on Mars. edit: Aww, that's just disappointing. =( [Edited on 10.09.2012 4:32 PM PDT]
