What I would do is hide a secret cache of Armor Locks.

Replace Sgt. Johnson huging and grabbing Elite's butt with Joe Staten grabbing Marty's butt. [Edited on 09.29.2012 9:56 PM PDT]
Posted by: xXIHAYD0IXx
Posted by: Jose291 Marty... and Siege of the Madrigal
My thoughts exactly. Also, the memorial wall with a list of users who stayed throughout the darkness would be really cool. It wasn't my idea, but it went something like the following: Brig Gen Foman Maj Burrito SSgt Mythical Wolf Brig Gen Duardo Col Evilcam Gen Achronos Etc. Granted, there would be several thousand names on it, but that honestly is not all that many. Ranks could be determined based on trust rating and title prefixes. A homeless man sat on the side of a random road holding a sign saying "I know what the ladies like".

In a graveyard somewhere, a certain tombstone has the word 'MIND' engraved on it. And a strange pinkish, orange-coloured fungus/mushroom is growing on it. [Edited on 09.29.2012 8:45 PM PDT]

A crazy NPC who runs around the entire map in full blue clothing who shouts phrases such as "Yank me!", "Keep your head down!", "Did you miss me?!", "I'm crazy! I like crazy!", "You found me!" and "I am a thief! But I keep what I steal!"

On a table somewhere, perhaps in a major city/village, a burrito with a fake moustache sits on a plate.
-
A metal hand reaching out of the water, holding a lightning bolt, somewhere very secluded.
-
A small museum with a fish tank in it that has a miniature city mildly flooded by the water. A poster would be above it with the words 'THE FLOOD', and one of the skyscrapers in the mini city has the 7th column symbol on its front, referencing the Bungie Community forum.
-
A secret NPC called Froman who is wearing a ninja outfit, far away from the busyness of the main map.
Posted by: lime013 A Marathon room, a Myth room, and a Halo room. Rage for reference.
This I would love to see that. ~TGW

If you've seen 1984 then I'd like Room 101. And when you first open it it's the beautiful scene of the rolling hills. Then when you walk into it, it turns into Room 101 from the movie. I feel like that'd make a very cool easter egg, especially in an open world game.

The Konami Code. They should put the Konami Code in Destiny.
-
A secret boss called The Zython.
-
Memorial wall of the people who made it through the darkness.
-
A mail sack behind a bush :)
-
Put Marty scaling some bigass cliff somewhere in it.

Something epic that showed symbolism of these times. A dark room that's only source of light came from a blue-flamed torch, under witch would have a plaque with the Septagon on it and it would say "The 7th Column". The back wall would have the signatures of all the employees at Bungie written on it. And when you walked in it played The Siege of Madrigal. The symbolism is that we, the community, are the torch. For Bungie is still running dark, but were burning bright. And blue.

The Arbiter is seen on various posters.

Some kind of made-up, in-game advertisement (movie, game, or anything) with the release date as
Soon(TM)
