Probably only a few every now and then.

Mind = Blown
Posted by: BlackHeaven We're all just alts of Achronos. He got so lonely, he's built this fantasy world where this site is actually populated.

Posted by: st3althsniper22 I love the logic here. Every new member is clearly an alt, because it's impossible for people to finally decide to sign up for a website after seeing it in games.
That conclusion you just came to, only a few people have said that. In comparison to everyone else's thought that most, not all, are alts.

Sadly, not enough.

With Bungie being in the dark and the little to no advertisement for this site, I have to say that it would just be a leak every now and then, in comparison to the flood we have when a game is announced. But when saying that, I am not factoring in alts. [Edited on 09.16.2012 6:49 AM PDT]

I've been a member for a while, I just haven't really taken part in the community til now. Not sure why, but I guess I'm new?
-
Little to none unless they're alts. I know a lot of alt accounts are made daily to troll. Once the game is revealed there will be a boom in activity.
-
15 a day + 30 alts.
-
In fact, all accounts apart from moderators and Bungie Employees are alts beloning to Xplode. Even I am Xplode, I think.
Posted by: Xplode441
Posted by: Teh_Zoid None. They're all alts.
Most of them are mine though.
A member per day maybe... not more though.
-
Not many, most people are lurking I bet. Heck I can't wait for the Destiny forums. It should replenish this site with some new blood.
-
Posted by: Teh_Zoid None. They're all alts.
Basically this.
Posted by: dmg04 Who cares? '04 or bust But seriously, I'm thinking most new members are either genuinely interested in bungie after playing halo(s), or they're friends of current members looking to get in on the darkness before we're all blinded by the light. Edit--- Person above me obviously has never tasted an '04.
lol! Not yet. I hear good things though. They say it tastes like Mountain Dew with crushed up Doritos mixed in, and with a hint of undeserved superiority and a strong after taste of cynicism. I'm saving my pennies and cant wait to buy one!

The '08 vintage of members has a more robust taste and flavor than the later years of members. Though not as aged or as expensive as the '05 & '04 members they are more prized by collectors. The 2010 and later vintage members have a sour taste as they have not had the time to fully bloom into a full flavor beverage. Given enough time all new vintages of members will come into thier own.

Cmon' guys. Halo is extremely popular even during these "dark" days. I'd guess Bungie sees at least 50 new members a day.
-
People sure are making a lot of alts, but that's about it.

The member ranking system goes very much like the Bungie Team system. Newbies: Reach period join. (2010-) Middle School: 2008-2009 Old Skool: 2006-2007 Grizzled Ancients: Any time before that. The above is subject to change as time goes on and new games come out. It is also not official at all. How many newbies join the ranks lately, though? Very few. At least, very few that aren't alts. Around the start of Reach, a lot came in. [Edited on 09.15.2012 6:24 PM PDT]
