Is there any member(s) here on Bungie.net that you have become decent friends with or acquainted with? I'm not saying you have had to meet them in real life and be the best of friends.
Posted by: A Pimpin Lady I can't say that I've met any true friend on here. But my husband made his best friend on here. Saw someone with a username that stood out to him, and then messaged him. Turns out, they were both attending the same college, majoring in the same area. Next semester, they ended up having a class together. The same person my husband met ended up marrying my husband and I last year.
Is "A Pimped Husband" also an Ag?

I like to think so.
-
Yeah, some. Though most were through other friends on the site.

Sure, a bunch of people. It's great because when I travel for work, I frequently have friends in whatever city I'm visiting and can meet up with them for lunch or happy hour. It's also been great since I moved to Seattle, considering how many Bungie fans (and employees!) are located here. It was really nice to have a base of people to call and meet up with, rather than moving to a new city knowing nobody.

I have made a few.

I do, but the main bonding point was over xbox, and since I can't afford that stuff anymore, I don't really talk to them all that much. It makes me sad.
-
Definitely. I play online regularly with most of them. Over the years you eventually just think of yourself enclosed in a room and you can't escape, eventually you just get to know everyone. I have only met a couple people here IRL though. I've met them all either through private groups, twitter or other forum boards. [Edited on 08.20.2012 10:01 AM PDT]

Anybody that i have at least somewhat gotten to know here on Bungie.net have all come through private groups. What notably comes to mind is a really old, small group - its dead now - but during the first few months i spent on BNet i spent most of my time there. Aureons Assassins, i do believe it was called. Man, some great people were in that group.

Tons of people in Sapphire. It's cool to be able to travel around the world and meet up with people in the places I go.

-
I've made quite a few friends on Bungie.net I like to think.
-
Yeah.
-
I believe I have, just can't remember who. =p
-
There are plenty of people who I know and like but I wouldn't class them as friends. So far the BNET has only linked me to one friend and he's great.

YawehFreak4evr and Tartan 118

Of course, its not good not having friends.
