Hopefully 343 drops...
I'm hoping they have more sense than bungie, what I mean by that is that I hope they drop that stupid "ban for 10 minutes if you quit" bull crap. That is possibly the worst idea ever conceived for an on-line game. Who the heck thought that was a good idea? Who ever it was should be fired and banned from ever working on any other game ever.

For this thread, I hope they keep it. OP, it is people like you who ruin the fun of games. You think you're entitled to do whatever you want because you payed the $60 for the game. Got some news for you though, you aren't. Nobody here or on 343 is that entitled. So grow up, play the game, and stop rage quitting every time someone tea bags you.

It barely punishes the player at all. Halo 3's was far better, and even it didn't do enough. Just stop quitting and learn to stay in the game.

But what I do want is some sort of ban that will punish AFK'ers and quitters.

I got quit banned for like 10 minutes after trolling and getting booted from like 7 games..that took like an hour. the quitban is fair. Hopefully 343 drops their policy of not having payed dlc playlists.

I think it's a good feature to have in a matchmaking system without a join-in-progress feature. In my opinion when one person in a 4 vs 4 game quits, It ruins the game and imbalances it. The quit ban is made because of chumps like the OP. [Edited on 08.20.2012 10:33 AM PDT]

343 are including the option to join during a game, so the poeple that quit because everyone else is quitting should stop. I have no problem with the banhammer as it is because I don't quit. To the OP stop quitting so much.

If you're getting the quit ban normally it's a sign to get off the Xbox and do something else for 10 minutes. Also calling people "sniper noobs" and checking people's K/D on a site that doesn't update our stats anymore doesn't really help you as it is in no way relevant to your thread and the quit ban.

If a game has join in progress like CoD, then there should be no quit ban and only a small penalty (not getting some xp) for quitting.

Depressing how much people care about those ranks they did nothing to earn. OT, 10 minutes really isn't a long time. By the time I decide what to do with the 10 minutes, it's half over. I get quit-banned constantly too, because unless I'm in a party I'll quit for any reason I feel like. If the lobby picks a retarded gametype, if my teammates quit, if my teammates are betraying or not trying or just godawful, if I'm in an airtight spawn trap, whatever.
