What is the craziest thing that was banned in elementary school when you were there?
When I was in elementary school Pokemon cards were banned from the bus. Everyone did it anyway.
Posted by: NorbergK6 I came in here expecting nobody to say Pokemon cards...
Those weren't allowed, along with Yu-Gi-Oh, and video games like Game Boys and such, even at lunch. Though i was lucky and when it was cold or when i didnt feel like playing outside, the Principal would let me sit on the sofa in her office and play.

Making your hand shaped like a gun.

at my school during lunch, you weren't allowed anything considered to be candy or soda, and you weren't allowed to do anything but whisper. if the sound level got above whisper level, a teacher would hold up his hand until it got silent, and each minute it took came out of our recess. Those god damn kindergartener's cost me SOOOO much recess time.

The only thing I can remember the teachers ever took from us was a soccer ball in 5th grade. Soccer during breaks was allowed but we had probably been up to some -blam!- or broken a window or something. That's when we rolled out "Operation get the ball back" by tricking every chick in the class to go to the teachers lounge and ask for the ball back. We were clever enough to send them one at a time so that the teachers constantly would get interrupted in their breaks. It did not end well.

Nothing too bad, but I got in serious trouble for using a magnifying glass to set a lone leaf on fire in the middle of the cement on the playground.

If we talked to loud at lunch, a red stoplight would buzz and turn re, and we couldn't talk for three minutes.

Those finger-skateboard things (I think they were like.. tec-decks or something), and plastic jewelry.

Holding hands/hugs.

They banned food from our 7th grade bus because I gave a burrito to my friend and he proceeded to fling it across the bus as chunks of bean and meat splattered down on people, including the bus driver.
