Kurt, followed closely by Kelly and John. :3 EDIT: Almost forgot about Sam, loved him. And my least favorite are Emile and Carter. Though Carter's helmet is pretty cool. [Edited on 08.09.2012 9:56 PM PDT]

Sam was always my favorite because of his attitude.

I mean, compare Noble Team to Blue Team. Linda > Jun Fred/Kurt > Carter/Emile John > Six Sam/Will > Jorge Kelly > Kat The novels actually provide the opportunity for character development, and Blue Team (minus Samuel) play a major role in 4 books. With that level of development compared to a 6 hour game where there's no emphasis on character development and the characters themselves spend most of the game doing nothing, being separated or not even present, how could anyone say that they prefer a Noble Team character. Take Linda for example, she snipes 7 Banshee pilots with only one hand while hanging upside-down inside a Covenant ship. What does Jun do that can even begin to compare to that? Again, I want to emphasise that I understand that this is your opinion. I just cannot understand the reasoning.
I didn't think about the novels.
This is why I strongly think Noble Team deserves their own novel. A novel of the whole teams history, starting from when it was started with Carter and Kat and the other teammates, and slowly show how the death of each squadmate affected them over time, and end where Halo Reach starts. Something like that could allow fantastic character development and an emotional narrative to take place. What Carter feels could be similar to what Kurt felt when he found out Alpha and Beta were KIA, except replaying the company with one Spartan. Obviously I'm sure he'd get news of his old company falling and all his brothers dying. C'mon, it would be some great stuff and you know it. It would give all of them the development they deserve. I personally love Carter and Kat. It's just sad people blow them away in a game where their life span is limited along side their AI which a lot of people treat as how they'd be in real life unlike the Chief who has multiple games and novels, like Johnson and the rest of the Spartan's. Noble Team deserves that chance too.
