So I'm going to Las Vegas....

So I'm going to Las Vegas, and I'll probably be back next tuesday. Why? To make money, and to prove this -blam!- wrong. I'm really looking for some eyewitness testimony from other Fl00d members here. Here's how it all started: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=73316248 More of me getting successfully trolled here, and finally here. I'm leaving on JetBlue Airways flight 781 leaving Boston Logan Airport at 9AM, and arriving in Vegas at 11:46 AM. If any Floodians are in the Boston area and want to show up, I'll pay for your ticket. Just show up to the check in counter 1 & 1half hours before hand. When we arrive to Vegas, I don't have any reservations right now for my stay, but I figured I'd just show up at either the MGM Grand, or the Belagio and get a penthouse suite at either of the two. If you're ok with sharing a room with random strangers, come on down. There'll be plenty of room in these high end suites. I'm easy to spot. 6'3 tall, 208 lbs, I'll be wearing a black suit and tie, along with a gold watch from Guess To those not in the Boston Massachusetts area, i.e who are already in Southwest United States, meet me there. Again, the game I'll be playing is baccarat. I'll be playing at the Luxor, New York New York, Gold Coast, and the high rollers room (the mansions) at the MGM. I'm easy to find. Just look for the big, 6'3 guy WHO'S NOT Chinese/Asian in general, with a sparkly fancy big gold watch on his left hand in a black suit & tie. (Again, easy to find, these are the only casinos I'll be visiting most likely. I haven't been gambling since last April. Like I said in those other thread, I go 0-3 times per week, as there aren't many casinos near Boston MA at all so It'll be great to go and make more money now as I'm running kind of low (by my standards), and gambling is my only income source. When we all descend to Vegas, I'll probably treat everybody there to a nice dinner or something, and perhaps racing exotics at the race track up north here Here's the little snag. I'll be going with little cash (but that's the beauty of it, so you can see just how amazingly well this method works). Much of my cash is stashed at my dads house in Framingham Massachusetts. It's about 12:45AM right now, and I'm in bed right now, and don't feel like putting my contact lenses back in, making the 30 mile trip (60 mile round trip) at this hour of the night, possibly waking up my dad when he might have work in the morning, when my flight leaves at 9AM. I'm headed down with only maybe $1,000 in cash, so I wont be able to bet $100-$200 hands like I was mentioning to make $2,000-$5,000 per hour, but you'll see. I'll probably bet $10 hands, $20, and $50 hands. I'll probably start with $20 and work my way up and turn this $500-$1,000 I'll be betting into something much more in front of your very eyes, to pay for that penthouse/luxury suite I mentioned, along with dinner for one night, exotic car racing for everyone, and perhaps paying the cover charges for a really good night club, or going to see a show. Capiché? To the Flood in Boston MA, meet me at the airport. To the rest of the Flood that care if any of you are there, meet me in Vegas at 3PM at the MGM Grand's golden lion statue at the lobby. Again, I'm 6'3, 208-212 lbs, black suite, black tie, gold & crystal cufflinks, with a gold sparkly watch from 'Guess'. We can exchange cell phone numbers there. Mine is deactivated, but will reactivate once I touch down in Vegas. To those interested in seeing a professional gambler in action, you have your instruction. To everyone else: I'll see you next Tuesday. Pictures, video, and all. (Recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited, but I'll do my best to do it without getting kicked out) Good night.

Freaking hot tubs the size of small pools in their room!!! It's my dream to do just that for at least 5 days or so in Vegas. I know all about it though. The Mansions sets you back $15k to $25k per night, and is invite only. It's guarded too with 'a secret entrance' (no really) that's hidden in the MGM. lol. There are guards there too. Guys a bit bigger than me (and I'm big) making sure no unathorized guets get in. It's invite only too, then you have to pay. You have to do/be something/someone special to get on. Good news is, I know quite a few people who have stayed at the mansions. When I get to that level of income (i need to figure out what I can do to make more money outside of gambling) I'd love to stay there. I'll ask them more about it as I get closer to my dreams. Even if you're not a guest at the mansions, you can still gamble there. There's a casino there that's really relaxed and quiet, a good distance from the actual rooms at the mansions. I didn't gamble there much because of the $100 minimum bet tables for baccarat. It's the high rollers section in the MGM really. I didn't have enough to gamble $100 hands with confidence.
I ask because I have been there myself. My dad somehow got in But who are these big scareh security guards you speak of? I've never seen any, and my family has been there too many times. I do agree with the secret entrance, tucked away waaaaaaaaaaay from the normal path. And the "main" entrance is out of the way as well. But the rooms... Boy the rooms.

I spent quite some time in Italy too, but I only know how to speak some italian and french, not really read or write correct spellings. Spanish too. I learned spanish in formal schooling, where that spelling just seemed right to me. Everything else I know in foreign language I owe to Paul Pimsleur It's an absolutely phenomenal way to learn a language that gets you functionally speaking really quick. I can speak in french, but I'd probably fail horribly at spelling anything in it right now. Even basic words. For that you'd need a separate college leveled text book. Nevertheless I'd recommend it to everyone. /critical review

I never have bet $200 hands in my life, only $100 hands, which happens almost never. What I'm basically doing is quoting, what my teacher said, and reporting his own results, to let people know that if they were to ever bet in that range of $100 to $200 hands, that's the average rate of money they'd be making employing this method. When I first started at Foxwoods, I kept gambling, taking in a good amount of cash, and when I felt confident enough, I went 20 minutes up the road to Mohegan Sun to bet at their tables with the $100 minimum bets, only once. That's when I felt as though I've risen to the level of my mentor, playing like him raking in huge cash for just one session. Let me say this; Lets say if you were to only bet $100 hands like I was doing at the time, you'll make as much as $2,000 to $2,400 per hour. Maybe more depending on the speed of play. If you were betting $200 hands, then quite much more. ^Oh, and I wont be making a new thread about this tonight. Perhaps tomorrow/later this week. I use to hate you, now I don't care. I'm in a state of preemptive forgiveness right now just thinking of how awesome these past few days have been. I've since dramatically calmed down, and this quick get-away was exactly what I needed, especially since I was running low on spendable U.S cash. Wish you were there instead of stuck in your cubicle. Seriously. /hugs =') [Edited on 07.18.2012 7:18 PM PDT]
In an earlier thread, which is where this entire thing started from.
Yes I did. The guy that taught me everything i know about bacc makes that much an hour betting the high hands he does. I too myself was up to that rate of making money myself in only one session, where I was betting $100 hands. Betting $200 hands gets you to an aproximate maximum of $5,000 per hour. I've only bet as high as $100 hands at the Mohegan sun (and last night at the MGM) where when I was betting $100 hands, I hauled in close to $3,000. I don't remember the exact amount factoring in banker commissions and such. And I think I was also saying that in a display of braggadocio, in response to someone perhaps making fun of me telling me to get a real job, as that was my counter to the insult directed towards me. If I'm remembering things correctly without even clicking on that thread. Again, I can, and do, have the potential to make $2,000, to $5,000 per hour, if and only if I'm betting $100 to $200 hands, with the lower end being betting $100 hands. I've only done that once in my life in a serious session for close to two full shoes. The other time was last night for just a few hands because I was scared. :\ [Edited on 07.18.2012 6:53 PM PDT]

 •
Posted by: A Good Troll
Posted by: SUICIDAL M0NK even though I'm still positive $30k-$40k in total profit from my casino trips.
There is a great deal of difference between claiming $5,000 an hour profit gambling, saying you don't crap out only every few months, etc. and then saying $30k-40k in total profit. By that logic, you've gambled 8 hours in your life. I would've never had any problem with someone claiming being up $30-40k. That happens.
Dude. I said $2,000-$5,000 at the rate of betting $100 - $200 hands. That's what my mentor does, and that's what I've done once in one session at Mohegan Sun, because with them, the minimum bet is $100. I go to foxwoods primarily for the lower minimum bet of $20, that I can often enough negotiate down to $15. I also bet at the Mansions in the MGM, where the minimum bet was also $100, right before I left, until I won 3 hands on the last day, hours before my flight. But I myself, I stick with $10-$50 hands most of the time. usually in the $20 sweet spot, minimum bet at foxwoods. More explanations will come eventually, but with this method, $20 hands yields me a maximum haul of $720 per day following my mentors instruction on limiting my winnings/total number of hands per shoe & per day I play. edit: When I went gambling the first night, I was the only player there at the sole baccarat table at the Luxor. Sometimes I really like being the only player because we go at MY own pace. So in quick rapid fire, I had the dealer dealing hands so quick almost as fast as she could, in quick succession raking in my small winnings. It was a $10 table, with me sticking to that minimum of $10 hands. i then upped the ante to $15 hands to get money even faster, then $20 for the last shoe of the night. I was quickly up over $1,000, ignoring my training on limiting myself. I was just happy to be doing so well, at ease in that somewhat peaceful environment, as I was really one of the very few in that section of the casino gambling at those hours. I was well aware of this being a possibility, because the methods I've learned I'll tell you right now, IS NO sure fire way of winning. I've had two separate experiences where I lost $730 as soon as I walked through the door, and another scenario where I was up $300, then lost that night close to $8k right after. Serious. My contingency plan in case that happened was to just reactivate my cell phone service, call my mom or dad to use my cash in the house to buy me a plane ticket back home. I have a significant amount of cash in Swiss francs & silver bullion that I've been turning my casino winnings into. They could have easily swapped the currency to get me home within a few hours just by going to a local mall. I did have a very small amount of cash to stay in a hotel overnight incase that happened though. There's this great app for android called 'hotels tonight' that gets you insanely good last minute deals on hotel bookings. I would have paid cash I believe, with whatever rate they gave me.

 •
Posted by: Osiris918 OP isn't posting pictures and using his "I've lost interest in this." excuse to buy him time while he searches the internet for pics.
NOPE. There are various tools you can use for reverse image searches to ensure that those pictures aren't posted anywhere else on the internet. Example: http://www.tineye.com/ Excuse me while I get a totally original picture of the Golden Lion Statue at the MGM that you wont find anywhere else online, as well as the fountains at the Bellagio. edit: MGM Lion I waited here for 1 hour, 10 minutes, but nobody showed up. Bellagio in action Now I said I'd only upload those two pictures, but I'll deliver just a tad more than promised in this instance. Remember that meager amount of cash I posted in the OP? Well I took that, and turned it into this after my first 3 shoes (about 3 hours) the very first night. http://tinypic.com/r/2ewp92v/6 Again. I really did lose interest in this. I'm just glad I had a fantastic time. I really don't care, and shouldn't care, what Troll says and thinks, as he's a random stranger I met online, and in the end, I know the full truth, and I'm perfectly content with just that right now. Note, all photos taken with the Google Nexus One, and old and outdated smart phone with a mediocre camera that doesn't perform well in low ambient daylight settings. (But still better than the iPhone 3Gs in every single way at the time of its release) [Edited on 07.18.2012 6:02 PM PDT]

Because really, go to any casino and look at the demographics at the bacc tables. lol. 70% chinese, 25% Asian in general, 5% other ethnicities. At least in my experience. I should have also added that to the description of myself in the OP lol to those who would have met me in action on the casino floor.
