Any A7X fans here?
I can't express how much I love Avenged Sevenfold.. And it's odd, because until I heard them, I never particularly liked metal. Their music is an orgasm for my ears. Any other fans here?

They're pretty good from what I've heard of them. I'm mainly into traditional heavy metal and progressive metal though (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, etc.)

I'm more currently into Impending Doom, Lamb of God, Suicide Silence, Machine Head, As I Lay Dying and Trivium. One of the above bands originated just four hours south of where I live. [Edited on 05.31.2012 5:30 PM PDT]

Avenged Sevenfold fan reporting in! They've been my favorite band for years. Waking the Fallen and City of Evil are my two favorite albums. I just love their music. It's like metal, but it's not. It's just great and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I just hate how people assume they're trying to be really "metal" and "emo" (god I hate them) because their music is somewhat dark. If people want metal, they should listen to Lamb of God. If they want emo music, they should listen to Bring Me the Horizon or Falling in Reverse. If they want Hard Rock (I call it Pseudo-Metal; caught between Guns and Roses, Metallica, and Dream Theater) then Avenged Sevenfold is the band to listen to. Even though their first two albums were technically "metalcore", I don't like to think of them as metal. Anybody who thinks they're "trying to be metal" or "emo" clearly has a mental disability.
