I wish my work place was like that :(
Posted by: Halo biggest fan I love the mood in the building. It reminds me of...-blam!- cubicles. Great studio!
Now you're thinking of portal xD Which makes me wonder... Will DeeJ make a epic video of the studio in the view of a test subject in aperture science laboratory room? Speaking of which, where is that picture of that new room where one Bungie Employee created a contest about naming that specific room? Anyone remembered? The Laboratorium?
Posted by: Enormous Corgi
Posted by: defnop552 Are visitors allowed to raid the fridge? Or sit on the hammocks?
Visitors... haha
So that $200 "V.I.P. Tour of Bungie" I won on eBay isn't genuine?
Posted by: DrBunsenHoneydew
Posted by: EuAn1196 Am I right in saying this is the studio that's a converted multiplex?
Yup. I actually saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow in this space back when it was a movie theater.
Even now you go in and see the world of tomorrow!

I'll sit in that hammock someday..

Epic.

OK, I thought VALVe's office was cool, but this takes the chocolate covered cake.

I saw this on reddit at my school the place looks sick! ~TGW

I wonder who is winning the $5 challenge.... These pics are very awesome, Bungie has a really awesome studio and a very nice environment to work. [Edited on 05.16.2012 4:31 PM PDT]

Any of those bikes Novara?
-
I saw a Street Fighter Alpha 3 arcade machine in that lounge area...major props.

Hammocks. They actually have hammocks. That's just too awesome. Also a good way to tell they're serious about World Domination.

It would be a dream to work there with you guys. It completely crushed my dreams of being an architect. The sole opportunity to visit such an astonishing establishment would be amazing. I'll be honest. I haven't been a member of Bungie.net for very long compared to a good majority of this community, but I have developed a strong relationship with Bungie. It's a one-way relationship, I'm sure, but I enjoy it. The odds of me ever being able to visit the outside of the building that Bungie's headquarters are located in are one in a million for me. The chances of me ever getting in are one in a billion, but there are very few things that I can offer that I wouldn't give to visit the people who made Halo. I bought an Xbox because of halo, so if you think about it, I would have paid close to $400 just to play the Halo: series. That's saying a lot for me, because I'm only in my early teens. That's a little over a year's allowance that I would have paid just to play Halo. Congradulations to whoever it is that got in to the Bungie studios to take these pictures. I envy you. I would give my right arm to be you. (hypothetically) Thanks Bungie

Awesome.

That's a really nice work place.

You are missing three zeroes in your number. It's a five thousand dollar prize, not five dollar prize.
Posted by: Jose291 I wonder who is winning the $5 challenge.... Nice place guys! ;D Reminds me of Epic Games, when I took a tour of their place. :D Oh yea, and what is it with rock walls?
Posted by: MAYHEMjbc It would be a dream to work there with you guys. It completely crushed my dreams of being an architect.
Many of our artists have Architectural degrees.
Posted by: II gaped II ----My question, how often does an employee climb the rock wall or play the arcade games??
At least a few people can be found on the wall at any point during the day.
Posted by: evilcam I see that Bungie=Coca Cola fanboys.
There was an outcry of requests for Pepsi as well, so there's definitely no exclusivity to Coke products. We're soft drink-Agnostic.
Do the programmers (I think that's who this makes sense for? Not exactly sure.) just use the acronym "C.C.!" when people ask them why they aren't working at any given point? Bungie has the best looking game studio hands down. Destiny planet... http://hw1.pa-cdn.com/par/img/editorial/bungietour/bungie_31.jpg

Is this even a workplace? It's no wonder why Bungie spends 3 years producing each title.
Posted by: Sector Z 157 Is this even a workplace? It's no wonder why Bungie spends 3 years producing each title.
Making games is stressful. Seriously... Although Bungie is one of the best developers around, so I'm sure they spend most of that time working. [Edited on 05.16.2012 7:51 PM PDT]

I love the open feel the building gives off. Very open and airy... like Venice. I'm very jealous of all who work there.

That's a developers heaven right there. I'd consider that a dream workplace. I'm envious of the current employees. [Edited on 05.16.2012 8:48 PM PDT]
