Mail Sack is open!
Please report to the mail room to drop a question into the Sack. What's on your mind? What would you like to know about the people at Bungie?
The goal is to sustain a light-hearted conversation between Bungie developers and the Bungie Community. The best questions are the ones that let us share a fun moment. Questions that dig into our current project will be passed over. We will talk about that later. Questions that require us to comment on industry controversies - thus sparking a nasty feud between us and other developers that we respect - will be strategically misplaced.
This is a chance for us to share a bit of ourselves with you while we toil away in this self-imposed dark phase. Let's keep the mood light. Shall we? We do so enjoy the weekly exchange.

What was your favorite activity as a child? I always loved playing with my LEGO blocks. I kept them all in a big box, and half the fun was rummaging through that box looking for that one perfect piece.

If you had to watch 1 film, on loop, 24/7 for the rest of your lives - which film would it be? P.S. You can eat any and all of the food and drink you want. Popcorn, pizza, CRISPS, beer, whatever - but you can't take eyes off the screen. :D Mwwuahahahhah!

"There are snacks in the kitchen, showers by the restrooms, and shouting on your birthday." How's everyone doing? Enjoying the fine collection of games at hand, I'm sure. Any big favorites that you would be caught playing on the weekends? Do you miss the connection between us.....I do. Is the dark phase literal, meaning that Bungie is now only lit by the glow of computer screens and LCD case lights and life in the office is now just plain dangerous? But seriously: how do the fine people at Bungie do lunches? Is it in groups by what you do, for instance, programmers with programmers and writers with writers? Do you have big conference room lunches with stacks of pizza higher than the Mombasa uplift? Is it sort of an individual thing, done with sodas perched precariously close to keyboards in an effort to get stuff done and allowing for thousands of "Then it exploded all over!" jokes? I am very curious.

Bungie, I started making a Halo texture pack for Minecraft a while ago, but it's not done due to a tri-state programming competition I had to make an iPhone app for. Now that the competition is over, I wanted to make a game for the hell of it. Any ideas (Running on the PC with DirectX)?
