Why Do People hate Apple?

Do you not realize that apple pretty much revolutionized the computer market, phone market, mouse, multi-touch, iPod, tablets and so many more things? Do you hate Apple because you can't afford a Mac? Or because you want to be different and have a Windows Phone? You do realize Apple is pretty much going to kill portable gaming, right?

They have no revolutionized the compute market; they've only simplified how a computer works. Admittedly, they have a great phone, but their mouses are -- once again -- just oversimplified. If you can't already tell, they're entire marketing schemes revolve around ease of use. That's why so many computer-n00bs buy their stuff. And what's [i]not[/i] to hate them about? They're an epitome of obsolete marketing, which comes even worse because of their overpriced products.

because they are one of the richest companies ever and have extreme prices for something that isnt better than the thing that is half the price of apple's product. They have all the money and they dont revolutionize anything anymore. They just polish something then sell it for an arm and a leg.

I personally don't like apple because of what they've [i]become[/i] they used to be all about revolutionary technology and bringing it to the masses.. now they've lost integrity and just shove their products down the throats of tecchies and hipsters alike making small updates and still claiming each new product is still revolutionary.. the only real change made with their latest iPad.. a retina display.. that's not even new tech and they're parading it about like they just reinvinted the wheel.. I hate apple not because of their products but because they no longer have integrity.

It's not that I hate apple, I just wouldn't trust them with my children, let alone a computer. First off, Apple basically stole their revolutionary GUI from Xerox, as opposed to popular belief. So any claims about apple "revolutionizing" the computer market is exaggerated. Secondly: Steve Jobs is a dick. I'm not kidding, I read his biography. He constantly yelled at his employees, refused ownership of his first child, dropped acid, and broke down into fits of crying when met in stressful situations. I simply don't like him. Third: Apple's consumer products are so grossly overpriced it makes me want to throw up. Back a while ago I was planning on buying a Mac Mini for $800 dollars to hook up to my TV. After doing some research I decided to build my own PC. I'm now building a tower that's coming out to about $750, with twice the performance capability of the mini. None of their current products come even close to revolutionary, and these tactics are used to turn their buyers into sheep and sell them outdated software for a ridiculous amount of money. I mean for god's sake, their front page has a picture of the new iPad with the word "Resolutionary" hanging over it. They made about 2 real updates to the iPad 3. Fifth: Apple avoids paying billions in taxpayer dollars by transferring their funds into offshore accounts. Didn't make the MP3 player, didn't make the touch screen smartphone, didn't make the concept of a tablet. But I will admit, their devices in these categories are usually the best. Going on to the Macs, iMacs, MacBook Pro's etc... They're inferior. The computing power you get within them for the price is just not worth it. And even the best of them use mobile graphics cards and things such as that. In addition, they are -blam!- for gaming and this is a gaming forum. They are good for photo and video editing however. I have a feeling you know very little about computers.

I don't think people hate Apple itself as much as they hate apple users. Not EVERY Apple consumer but, you know, the ones who preach Apple products like the goddamn bible or something, and look down at you if you don't use them.

I think people hate Apple because they just can't afford their products or haven't got any. You have to use an Apple product on a long term basis to see how much greater it is. I have multiple Android phones and while they do have WAY more customisation and freedom, I prefer iOS. It's just so much easier to use and does simple tasks much quickly and faster than Android. It also looks better and doesn't ever lag. You also get frequent updates. There is an argument on both sides and I still believe it is a matter of opinion of whether Android or iOS is better.
