So, Pokemon Black and White 2

Announced on February 26, 2012, and the first main Pokemon game sequels ever. The version mascots are hybrids of [url=http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/1/16/646Kyurem-Black.png]Zekrom/Kyurem[/url] and [url=http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/8/81/646Kyurem-White.png]Reshiram/Kyurem[/url], respectively.
These hybrids each have their own [url=http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/d/d6/Kyurem_overdrive_forms.png]Overdrive Forme[/url]. Their signature moves will be Frost Burn (Reshiram) and Freeze Shock (Zekrom).

IMO pokemon started getting -blam!-er after the Third Generation (Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald. Fire red and leaf green were awesome.

They come out almost every year in Japan, they are DS titles so production time is a lot faster than that of making a full sized PC game. They also are RPG's that appease to a child audience so they must keep the children interested.
