I, personally, worked pretty hard to get my Recon. This is also the first I heard of 343i giving it away. Does this anger me? A lil' but at the same time, I got my Recon when it mattered most. In the prime of Halo 3's life. What's it matter now if the people who play, but there isn't enough people to pull together to get it for themselves, get it for free now. When do they get their free Recon anyways? I personally, had my Halo 3 avatar with my Recon Helmet and Katana before Bungie finished it's transferring of Halo Data to 343i, so my Halo 3 Player Model sports my Recon. Another way that I get to show that I dedicated time and worked pretty hard to get. I don't know, maybe I don't see why it would matter this much, after so much time has passed since Halo 3 was relevant. *shrugs*

When I said 'deserve' I was referring to what the others said. As the OP said he would help us "deserve" recon. Also the whole topic is about earning the VidMasters, even though we are getting recon anyways. Therefore in a way, it is helping us deserve recon, making the word 'deserve' relevant. The two topics... both about one thing, but dicussing different things about it. That wouldn't necessarily be the same topic. The first was about your thoughts on the topic. I must admit; i dont like the fact that 343 is giving it away. Even as it got easier and easier over the years to achieve, there was still always some sort of challenge.
