Explain why You Hate Bloom.

I find it a bit more realistic. Bullet spread would happen at a higher rate of fire. EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT Actually I now understand how bloom should have been.   • I have already debunked the realism idea. I feel I need to now make a thread proclaiming to the world that bloom was NOT in previous Halo games. It was on automatic weapons (where it doesn't matter) and the other weapons had a spread, which is not the same as bloom. I don't know where people are getting the "The BR had bloom!" BS from.

  • Well, if you want to be realistic, do you really think that a SPARTAN will feel the kickback of the rifle? Remember that they weight a lot and they are also very strong in that armor. I know that those spartan III suck but, still!!! And I hate it because it sucks, its random, blahblahblah. Im sure it has all been said before already.

The firing, and then ejecting of the cartridge happens incredibly fast (in reality, anyways); yet there's all this time being wasted in between shots. You're forced to watch your Spartan recover from recoil after each shot before you're allowed to shoot again, yet you still have to deal with so much bloom and inaccuracy? That doesn't seem realistic to me. Now, even that could make sense if it only happened while you were moving, but it doesn't. I'll be crouched down, aiming through the DMR sights, fire the weapon, and the bloom is exactly the same as when I'm running, jumping, all the while firing. [Edited on 12.09.2011 9:07 PM PST]
