Tagee was so happy he made to the Alongie on time and to find that there are 161704052 Grunts on board. [/quote] [i] Major Richardson saw his ship take severe damage and decided instead of destroying the enemy ship, they would take the captain prisoner, take some supplies from the ship, then destroy the ship. They found their supplies fast, then used the jumper to carry it back to the Scorpio. The strike team then found the navigation banks and downloaded the data to the Scorpio. The Grunt Captain was harder to secure. Finally Major Richardson decided that the ship was wasting his troops and ordered his troops to fall back. By himself, he planted the primary bomb and went back to the awaiting longsword fighter. Once he left the ship, the grunts launched 10 hidden seraph fighters to intercept the longsword. Even though Richardson hardly left the ship, he said "The final push, I will make. Scorpio, raise shield, divert power from secondary systems to the shields." With those words, he remotely detonated the explosives. However the bomb had been jettisoned by the grunts. The explosion critally damaged the grunt ship and brought down the shields of the Scorpio. Major Richardson was atomized in the blast and George's CO, Lieutenant Krell, was put into command. First order of business, get weapons fired up and destroy the enemy ship. Second order, run a manifest of the ship. Third order: head back to P58-232 for repairs. The second order was completed quickly. The hyperspace generator was fixed along with the railguns. As George, the new Weapons Officer, ordered the destruction of the Rector Bringan. With a ferocity that has only been matched by the wild beasts of the grasslands, the railgun crews tore the Rector a hole in the ship. With a clear shot into the core, the Lieutenant ordered the ship to begin military thrust away from the enemy ship. Two V-50 missiles detached themselves from the ship to impact the core. The Rector Bringan went up in a massive explosion. The third order was followed shortly after as the Scorpio went into hyperspace on a course for the repair station. [/i]
