This week we had the opportunity to talk to Anne Wolanski of Seasoned Gamers. Read about how she came to have such an interest in games, what Seasoned Gamers is all about and how she feels about hyperventilating teenage potty-mouths.

lol I hope so and good work KAC! I recomend SG (since i'm a member lol) but its my home away from home and the people there are some of the nicest people in the universe (hilarious too). 2 thumbs UP.
-
Well then.........yea.
-
Am I the only one that would scroll back up to her picture after reading each one of her answers to KP's questions? [Edited on 8/10/2006]

Sexy woman

i agree... nice article KAC... i only worry about the flood now... as i always have... do we have a MC in the house? (to control the flood eh?)
-
I thought all the whambulance posts only came in email form? Great article KAC. Way to stick to the roots.
-
You were definitely hanging around the wrong crowd, but that was one lucky crowd. Does she love Halo enough to marry it?
-
I'd prolly join but I have this habit of any clan I'm in dies. lol! P.S. It's not my fault though, ever. Strange.
-
i agree and i am also at work
-
Cool! Being seasoned, I'll have to check that sight out. Very pretty girl, especially that hair.
-
great writeup KAC! you've been representing SG from day 1 and no one does it better. and thanks to Bungie and KPaul for the spotlight. ;)
-
"I am not enjoying myself and vow never to purchase a non-Microsoft product!"
Haha! Yeah, I felt that way too until I played it there. But I must say, getting used to FPS's on the Wii was quite difficult at first. If I get one, I'll probably buy the other controller for it as well...
-
Congrats KAC we are all proud of you. Definetly glad you got of that FFXI kick, we finally were graced with your presence again in Halo 2.
-
Definitely sounds like a group I would like to be a part of! I will have to check that out more closely when I get home, as I probably shouldn't even be reading this while at work, but I guess that shows off the kid in me! Great interview and keep up the good work Bungie and Anne.
-
Sounds like a really good group they have. As someone who is struggling to come to terms with the fact I'm supposed to act like I'm in my mid-twenties it's nice to see I'm not on my own. ;-)

we actually have many members OVER thirty, stuntmutt. one of our original members was in his 70's i believe. essentially, we're all just a bunch adults acting way younger than we should be. it's like cocoon, but, you know, over XBL and without that ass, guttenberg. so age is really just an excuse to use when losing to our younger members. or as a badge of honor when beating them. also, being a webartist yourself, just wanted to mention that one of our members (JWonder) has created an SG comic starring various SG'ers that we're all very proud of. 'Up to' thirtysomething. Bah. And humbug. Very good interview, nice to hear it's not just me who mutters about slow reaction times (not to mention being befuddled by all those confounded buttons on the control pad. How am I supposed to remember what they all do?). LOVED the caption under the photo.

Nice article. However we all know that mature gaming and the word oxymoron are synonomous with each other. I do agree that she's very pretty though. With all that said, did anyone notice the article where they challenged the gamers to excercise? If I know one thing video gamers don't like to excercise. I play video games and like excercising, which seems ironic to what I've already typed in this paragraph. Now I'm feeling like an oxymoron. Oh where oh where has Frankie O'Connor gone, oh where oh where has he gone? Starbucks maybe?

Red hair is hawt. Sorry about your friend. LA sucks.
-
Cool write up KP, the good thing is that most people who do not read the entire article will not bother to go to that site. which means that the more mature people will actually click the link at the bottom.
-
Nice to see the "old guys" get some airtime:) I belong to another site, 2old2play.com, we DO have an age limit though....gotta be 25 to join, and believe it or not, we have over 5000 members. Just got back from a 100+ member LAN in Chicago on Monday....was the best time Ive had in a loooong time. www.2old2play.com [Edited on 8/9/2006]
