Promotional Video Contest
[b]Promotional Video Contest![/b]
Even seen a clip from Bungie promoting their new game that just made you go “wow”? Here’s your chance to make your own video promoting one of Bungie’s games and make them go “wow.”*
Using footage from any of Bungie’s games, from Gnop! to Halo 3, make a 1:30 (max) video promoting that game, or you can sling them all into one video and make a promotion for Bungie Studios, or you film one yourself using legos! The point is, "Be creative". Then post your video on Youtube.com (among others) and post the link here. The contest will go through seven^ rounds of elimination before declaring a victor. Below are the specifications.

[*]Must contain the Bungie logo at some point
[*]Must be no longer than 1:30
[*]Must be your own creation
[*]Creativity is a big plus

NO. All of your hard work and talent was for naught. Bwah hah hah. Just kidding, of course we'll still give you guys prizes. We need to hear from Gnome since this is his little love child. I don't think it will be too big of a deal if we need to find new judges since The Seventh Column Contests is all about fans running contests for the fans. The results might end up taking longer than originally planned but the end result will still be that this contest was/is a hell of a lot of fun. I would judge but I'm particularly in love with a certain members videos. I watch them daily.

Is there any way to set up a vote or something on another thread? Then everyone would be able to have a say in which vid wins and the responsibility would no longer be on a few people's shoulders. If not, I think it's time we had some people from the forum volunteer. No offense intended to the people who made the contest, it was a good concept, but apparently it is not working out so good in practice. PS: 4th post.

Ok, I guess there should be an explination. I honestly don't know what has happened, I haven't heard from any of the other judges about what we were supposed to do about judging. ODST said he pretty much retired from B.net, spartacus14... um, I have no idea, Gnome only has a dial-up connection, so it can be very hard for him to watch videos at times, and I have started college and have just completely run out of time to do anything. Not to mention that my connection sucks as well. I'll try to get some people to judge ( if anyone wants to help, then please speak up), but at this moment, don't expect anything soon. I promise I won't forget, but its going to be awhile unless I can get some new people to judge. Look, I'm sorry this happened, but sometimes we just can't help it.

I already watched and personally judged every video, how long does it take for them to do this. I didn't even enter a video, but I'm a crazed fan for this contest. This seems very unprofessional.

I started messing around with WMM, and I got up to a drink, and when I came I back I tripped over the dog, spilled the milk (I shed only a few tears), and ran into the keyboard. Alright guys, some bad news. I've practically got no time on my hand anymore so i'm done with this contest. There are other judges who are invloved but I've not heard anything from them so I really dont know if they're even judging this anymore. We did start judging but we havn't gotten far. All I can say is be patient...or if you're really anxious, message them and ask'em if they're even still around. Don't give em such a hard time...maybe they are judging the entries and will post an answer when they are done. Most people have submited at least three videos and it would really be a long task to judge all of them accordingly. Just give them time...
