Once again, thanks for your patience in the judging of this contest and now we finally have some results for you. I think what made a good promotional video really stand out was one that would actually entice me to play the game or visit the website. Some stood out more than others but overall the quality of entries was really high. The shots in this video combined with the message would really make you want to check out Halo 2 after seeing this. Just a superb job. [*]2nd - SuburbanChief [url=http://useruploads.mythica.org/view.cgi?f=contestnoramls creen _Comp_1.mov]Video 1[/url] The use of this music set to these particular cut-scenes is exceptionally executed. Throw in some quick, subliminal Halo imagery to fix your attention and you're instantly hooked. The tone of the music during the scene at The Ark is perfect. [*]3rd - CPTN NILES [url=http://useruploads.mythica.org/view/FinishedPromoSML.mov]Video 1[/url] Incredibly creative and must have been a lot of work to make. If you don't know about some of Bungie's other IP's then this video was made for you. Bravo CPTN NILES. [*]4th - nes09 [url=http://tinyurl.com/oo2mr]Video 1[/url] A fast paced and frantic video that uses scenes from all three games in the Halo series. How nes09 timed all of this with the music is beyond me. If I hadn't played Halo before I would be now. Even my fiancee gave it two thumbs up. [*]5th - SiR KILL B0T [url=http://youtube.com/watch?v=bIoPfHkDvnA]Video 2[/url] The timing of the scenes with the music, combined with the messages implemented into the videos, really creates a lot of drama. Nicely done. [*]6th - Esteban CQ [url=http://youtube.com/watch?v=F7zZQLaXxyw]Video 2[/url] This is a video about the chief and all of the sacrifices and challenges he faces for humanity. The timing of the music with some of the key scenes is superbly executed and it leaves you with an ominous feeling that maybe the chief has one last sacrifice to make. The use of the 360 logo at the end really sells it and makes me want Halo 3 all the more. [*]7th - MuppetMower [url=http://youtube.com/watch?v=PVPudziI2AQ]Video 2[/url] Editing in scenes from the LE DVD for Halo 2 really adds to this and give it a sense of creation. This video plays just like a TV advertisement. [*]8th - The Successor [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhk4vNbpngg]Video 1[/url] The Successor chose some great footage and music to marry together. There's several scenes during this that made me want to go back and experience Halo 2 all over again. (The helicopter pilot in me loves watching the Phantoms flare when they come in to drop off the Arbiter) [*]9th - Lunaticz0r [url=http://tinyurl.com/kzk9x]Video 2[/url] Take some crazy editing effects, add in some angry music, and it makes for one entertaining video. [*]10th - IBTBI Ben [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4keNm82XJ4]Video 2[/url] Ben blended in some cut-scenes and some gameplay action to really tantalize you if you were uninitiated to Halo2. He keeps a sad tone to the music as if reminding us the covenant are overwhelming in force and have found Earth. [u]The Prizes[/u] The top three still get to use some moola in the Bungie Store or have the option to get the money directly into a Paypal account.
