My initial app question has been answered. Do you have any questions about the droid app? Ask them here! [Edited on 10.19.2011 12:09 PM PDT]

 • This seems like an appropriate thread, so here's a quick question: I'm getting a new phone today, so should I get the iPhone 4s, or the Samsung Galaxy s2? Now that the Bungie app is on both, that is no longer the deciding factor.

 •
Posted by: Kretos A question I haven't seen answered yet: I have both an iOS device and an Android device. While using both with the Bungie app, which device would be remembered on my account here? I haven't tried logging in with my iOS device yet since using the android version, but would this create a conflict of some sort?
It signs you out of the IOS app when you sign into the Droid app. I'm assuming its vice-versa. Also, Kretos and I wear our cool-guy-mythic-similar-avatar-pants. [Edited on 10.20.2011 7:37 AM PDT]

 • Perhaps he was under the impression that the FAQ was only directed toward those who had the application for the iPhone. :-)
Posted by: komark I have a question. Why make this thread when there Already is an official, pinned thread
•
Posted by: elmicker
Posted by: GanonSmash Mainly the fact that you can access messages/chat and your friends list, which you can't get to from the mobile version of B.net. Also it's a foundation for stuff for Bungie's next game to be built onto.
Who said anything about the mobile version? If you've got a remotely modern smartphone and you're still using mobile versions of sites you're doing it very wrong. It's like buying a kindle and then using it to prop up a book.
Sure you can use the full site, but it's not designed for a phone interface, thus it's harder to use quickly. All that pinching and zooming, it's just so awkward!

 • Perhaps they will implement that in the future. For now, we should be happy with what we have. Also, thank you for sharing that, Sonic343. :-)
Posted by: kashinfist That's really what I wanted in the app.
Posted by: Leprechaun209 How come I still have to go on the main site to post to forums? I thought that would be on the app! :(

•
Posted by: Raaascal Are there any differences between the Android Application and the iPhone Application? :-)
I think Android users have some backgrounds that iOS users do not, and vise-versa: iPhone (Taken from my phone) Android (Taken from Android Market page) [Edited on 10.19.2011 3:14 PM PDT]

 • I'm hoping that eventually stats will be part of the app, not just a link to the mobile site. Its quite a nice app though, long time coming.

 • I don't have a question about the Android Bungie.net app; however, I am wondering if there will be a Windows Phone version of the app.

 •
Posted by: AzNs4LiF3 Just got it, the layout looks cool and better than the Iphone version, but I dislike that when you click Halo Reach stats, it sends you to the website.
This is my only real gripe about the app, love it otherwise!

 •
Posted by: elmicker What's the point of using the app over just pointing your browser to b.net? This isn't iOS, Android's browser is actually fully functional.
Mainly the fact that you can access messages/chat and your friends list, which you can't get to from the mobile version of B.net. Also it's a foundation for stuff for Bungie's next game to be built onto.
