Bungie trying to push in recon?

It seems like now that many more people have recon and it is becoming less special even with halo 3 still out. Bungie seems to be pushing it with the Bungie vs The World Day and the Microsoft Challenge. It's almost like they want everyone to have it because when out comes ODST everyone with live will have it and games will be based with strictly recon wearers. I rememeber when recon was hard to get with the screenshots let alone any other way. Bassically I am saying that Bungie is pretty much just trying to hand out recon at this point and by the time ODST comes out I predict at least half the ammount of recon bearers will be doubled and when ODST comes out I would say in weeks the Recon population will double. How special is Recon if everyone has it? Discuss

 • The fact that something that is hard to get is naturally wanted by everyone is just human nature. You'd like the [insert random item here] you bought for $100 dollars better than the same item for $5. Truly, it's just an armor permutation. If you have it, you have it. If you don't, get over it. All that really matters is whether it truly appeals to you, regardless of how hard it is to get. Going off on another tangent: Honestly, I think that there are enough armor permutations for Spartans. I mean, really, they load up all the armor on one player build (Spartans) and completely neglect the other (Elites). Just because fewer people play as Elites doesn't mean that they should have any fewer choices. They could come up with a few new types: Arbiter armor, Honor Guard, etc. I know, I heard that there was a hitbox issue with the Arbiter armor (something about the Arbiter being more lanky), but come on, it's Bungie. They could make it work! EDIT: Yes, I know that Bungie has said can't make more armor permutes, but then how does Recon (and even the fire) get onto the game? Unless they were purposefully integrated into the game from its release, they should be able to make more armor permutes. Which I wouldn't doubt, seeing as Bungie is a huge, mastermind company.
