They can only get better after this! Also, did anyone else think of Sandswept Studios when they read this?

As a game developer I think this idea is very awesome-sause. Great job Bungie! [i]Now I await the millions of 9 year olds who are going to complain that Aerospace isn't a game and will start raging.[/i]

I am...underwhelmed. Sounds great for those indie devs that might need a little help but to the bread and butter Bungie fan this seems like the hype surrounding it was a little unnecessary. Good on you though Bungie, I guess...

I checked it out, and Hawken looks pretty sweet. It looks like it will be on PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. I'm guessing it will be about $20, and well worth the money.

This is really awesome for small developers. It really shows that Bungie cares. I however don't play mobile games nor do I make them so its of no interest to me. Still really great though, just not for me. Well done Bungie. [Edited on 06.30.2011 11:26 AM PDT]

If this works out the way I'm sure Bungie hopes it will, it could leave them in a prime position for making big bucks. Phones are beginning to reach the point where the hardware can push some amazing stuff. If Bungie can assert itself in a way to take advantage of that, which it is clearly doing, who knows what kind of an impact it would have in the future. Either way, I'm glad I picked up my Evo 3D on Friday. I'll enjoy the top notch specs to play these games wonderfully!

With what you announced today, you guys should turn your eyes upon Adhesive Games. They've made a little noise about their new game "Hawken", but not much. They also said they've been looking to partner with a bigger company *cough hint at Bungie *cough. I think what their little team of awesomeness has created would make a kick ass game if a hint of Bungie was added. Why buy a hunk of plastic to play games for $60 a pop, when I can have one device that can connect to the internet, make phone calls, take pictures, and contain my entire game library? Too bad I have a windows phone and doubt a lot of these games will reach me :/ Definitely unexpected.....and a little disappointing.

I hope we still get some details on what the next actual title is on Bungie day(Bungie usually keeps their promises, and I don't think this qualifies as the "next big thing", or "new hotness" they've been promising). Personally I don't play mobile games which makes this slightly disappointing. [Edited on 06.30.2011 10:58 AM PDT]

I'm not impressed at all, but I am not shocked either, I had a feeling this was not going to be announcement about BUNGIE's next Universe. Plus I don't even play Mobile based games.
