Should Prostitution be legal?
I really don't understand why it is illegal in the first place.
It could be legal in certified brothels, which would have to pay tax.
Street prostitution should remain illegal, however, as it could not be taxed.

Hm... the morality of such a concept is non-existent, but from a realistic standpoint, I can't find any argument against it. And like the guy before said, why is it illegal to sell your body, when you can give it away for free? Is it because free makes it look like the people love each other? One things for sure, Soccer-moms would be up in arms by the hundreds. And a brothel would be considered a splotch in most towns.

As long as the woman is choosing to be a prostitute I don't see the big deal, it's when they're forced into it that it's a bad thing If it was legal I have a feeling it would be easier to control

Viva Las Vegas!! No but it is legal in Las Vegas. Well not the city itself but the surrounding counties. Prostitues are required to get checked at the end of each month or something like that and so far there have been no known cases of STD's being transmitted through those brothels.
