• Yeah, I caught that. But in the original Morrowind...it was just stupid. You were more likely to hit them if you were looking at the ground.

 •
Posted by: Popper99
Posted by: SniperLegend12 Did they fix the fighting? Before, it sucked ass. Is it good now?
Yes. Now if you swing, you will hit. No more "I missed" bullcrap. And my game freezes sometimes! That sucks nuts! Cheap Microsoft monkeys!
Excellent...not the freezing part, but the whole fighting thing. So, now, you're not more likely to hit if you swing at the ground?

 • OMG!!! Ok, I went into a town, and the guard was attacking a creature following me, he accidentally hit a townspersona dn the townspeople attacked the guard. After that they began to attack each other and I just took their stuff, and you'll never guess what I found on one of the towns folk... An ebony broadsword and a WHOLE lot of magic items. I sold them all to random places but they ran out of gold to sell me before I got to the REALLY big ticket items. I'm at 200,000 gold!!!!

 • I just defended Kavatch from Oblivion! Man! that battle took me 2 hours to complete. Also The Dark Brotherhood is freaky man! they come in your sleep and tell you to kill an old man and once you do you go to this underground temple and you can become a vampire too. [Edited on 3/23/2006]

 •
1) Is it one of those RPG's that you have to keep choosing what weapon/potion you want to use everytime you're in a fight, or can you control your character sort of like a FPS? 2) Is the view in first person, or third. I remember Morrowind being a third person view. In the trailers for Oblivion it was like a first person view. 3) Is it a game that players new to the RPG genre can learn rather quickly (quickly meaning w/in the first 2-4 days)? 4) Is it kind of like Fable?
A1) the game is played like a FPS A2)The game can be played in both first and third person (you can switch when ever you like, even in combat) A3.) You can learn quickly however the game is over 16 miles in size has over 200 dungeons, over 400 books. Despite the size you will learn pretty fast... A4) i would not say it's much like fable although there is lock-picking, magic and can be played in 3rd person. The main quest is also over 20-25 hours if you stick to it. There are also over 200 other quests. Things are also getting added to the game via downloads. I hope that helps....
