Deterministic Chaos is pointless
Why make a very cool looking exotic that’s included in the Lightfall campaign when it’s literally pointless to use? Does anything think it should be reworked or have any ideas on how to make it more useful? I just hate these throwaway exotics that have no use when they absolutely could be something great

Make it to where you don’t have to hold down the trigger constantly to activate the exotic perk. They should also make it to where every 2 bullets makes a target volatile and every fourth weakens. I think it should stay a support weapon, but it sucks so much at that job. A good ability spam build does what deterministic chaos does, but better

Edited by Obi-Juan: 5/14/2024 3:35:31 AMDC should have a 35-40% debuff but the debuff should fall off extremely quick if you don't continue shooting so it works like Divinity but without the crit bubble. That's how they should tweak it in my opinion. Very few people have Divinity but anyone can get Deterministic Chaos if they have Lightfall. I hope they consider it coz it would honestly be balanced. Divinity was insanely strong because it not only gave 30% debuff but it also gave easy crits. Deterministic would only give you the debuff. The issue is it has to be higher than 30% because tether and tractor already exist.

10 RepliesIt has use if you need to debuff a far away boss for a raid or something and don't have a tether. Otherwise it's trash.

Edited by Dr.Zoidsmythe: 5/13/2024 11:56:55 PM360's need a massive damage buff in general in PVE. I'd say machine guns and auto's. around 25%. Maybe even bump up the rpm to 390. Deterministic Chaos also needs more, I don't know what. Rn its absolutely useless.

Make it a 900 rpm and add reconstruction as catalyst. Be good then.
