For the Millionth Time, Need Special Ammo if Joining In-Progress PVP Match
A) I NEVER leave a match early. Please quit making me join in-progress PVP matches. Instead, punish the serial quitters by making them join the losing team of in-progress matches more often than the non-quitters.
B) When players are forced to join an in-progress match, at least provide them the same amount of special ammo they'd have otherwise received if joining a fresh match.
F--king players by forcing them onto the typically losing team on an in-progress match, then f--king them again by depriving them of the special ammo everyone else began the match with makes zero sense and makes for an absolutely miserable experience.

I don't care as much about the special ammo, but being dumped into the middle of an ongoing match without any super being built-up and then getting supered 6 times is really unfair. If Bungie is going to dump me unto a losing team, at least give me half of my super I would have had if I was there from the start. Jeez, it's terrible starting a match dodging nova bombs, golden guns, and flaming hammers and all you got is little worthless bullets.

1 ReplyUnfortunately, there’s not enough people playing this game’s dogsht pvp game mode, so pretty much any sort of intuitive matchmaking system won’t work.

I've lost a good streak due to this and it's very annoying to have to be put into a situation like that. Halo days were great cause if a player quit no one could join mid match. Same thing goes for trials players purposefully quit or close game to then get a pass on losing their flawless on the card. These exploits ruin the Tegridy of the game. Yours Truly Randy Marsh.

3 RepliesJust because you say youre honorable in terms of leaving matches or even leaving and then rejoining for loss protection doesn’t mean everyone else is. In fact in the top 1% pvp community its very normal to do cheesy things like this and your request would benefit those exact players the most in gamemodes like Trials. So No. hard No.

I assume Bungie is trying to deter people who leave and rejoin for free special. Either that or Bungie just does not feel like coding any kind of special ammo grant unless it’s the beginning of the game. Bungie’s lazy.
