That's just topical Bungie for you. The into the light has been pretty cool and fun but recluse is nothing special anymore and Luna has got nerfed so bad there's no point in using it (I'm talking about the sunset version).

I’m still going to hope that guns like Blast Furnace and Hammerhead aren’t neutered as well.

They shouldn't be. Blast furnace is probably going to be a monster, and hammer head based on the perks might be better than it ever was.
