Onslaught builds

Hi guys, I’m interested to hear what builds people are taking into onslaught to reach and complete all 50 waves on legend, especially from my fellow titans. I’ve tried a couple of options but am yet able to get past the mid 20’s. Hope you’re all enjoying this new mode and look forward to hearing what you guys are using. All the best Edit: managed to clear it. For me, strand titan with a one,two punch shotgun, sunshot & machine gun worked well, however the big decider, was a strong team that played well together. Thanks to everyone for some great advice and for those that have any other suggestions, please keep that knowledge coming, for anyone else who finds this thread looking for some advice.

  • Team comp and positioning is what you should focus more on. 1 well, 1 tether and 1 ad clear is usually how I have beaten lvl 50. And it's usually with lfg randoms who knows how to push spawns. Titans with a good DPS like strand for those bonus objectives. Figure a burst build that can bring down those meaty walkers, knights and tormentor.

  • Ngl, I feel that strand hunter would go crazy with its mass severs, that bouncy spike, the 360 swing in the super, and the bayblade

  • It's not that important what you run as long as the team composition complements each other. You need someone that ensures survivability, someone in a supporting role and raw brutal power. You should also be able to split up when needed - eg. one player holds the zone while passively healing your adu while the other two take down a super tanky skybomber rig. I think the most straightforward team comp is a welllock on Phoenix with something that has incandescent as a primary, a void hunter with Orpheus (although I used Gyrfalcon's and Manticore). I believe our Titan had Abeyant Leaps on. I also used Commemoration and a wave frame in the kinetic for the first 30 waves which I then swapped to something with disorienting nades for the last two sets - since the ads would tank too many shots and waveframes don't work too well in the boss room. Waves 38-39 and 48-49 are crucial - so keep your supers ready. I also don't understand why there's such a disparity in difficulty between the waves and the boss room which was a breeze even on wave 50. And since there's no timer there - you can farm scrap like a madman....

Yeah you need a build to survive but you gotta understand too the biggest factor is keeping the ADU alive. The highest rank on legend I got on was level 25 around that time I had a tormentor he basically one punch the adu. Some people don't want to admit If it wasn't for the battery duplicate glitch the completion rate for legend on wave 50 would be lower than 20% in the community! After legend wave 20 enemies do start becoming extremely unbalanced Bullet sponges on steroids. There's a reason why division 2 legendary mode no longer has bullet sponges because it's not enjoyable wasting bullets after bullets on one enemy. Its a video game it suppose to fun not contest mode on a horde mode with awful rewards being no different than normal!

Suspending #-Its good to use piercing rounds and ricco rounds to shoot through and hit mobs from behind cover. #-Find ways to heal #-Take heavy crate together #-Take a bullet for the team #-Lure tormentors away from the adu Good luck

      • Have a look at Mactics on YouTube, he does some good stuff. He posted a great Titan Void Build which got me through a run.

Osmiomancy gloves w/iceflare bolts Kinetic slot - Lingering dread (disorienting and chill clip) Energy - Polaris lance Heavy - Cataphract adept (envious and bait and switch) Got some pretty easy legend clears with this setup.

          • I main a Titan but used my Warlock with stasis and osmiomancy gloves. The stasis turrets from bleach watcher really help a lot. Beat the 50 waves on Legend with two stasis warlocks and a hunter with tether.
