After the recent patch PvP weapon ranges are BUSTED 140 Hc n 450 Autos example Sunshot 3 tapping 40meters

I think your numbers are off for auto rifles and explosive round hcs after the most recent patch and special ammo crates in comp way too much special ammo these forums will be ablaze after trials weekend when people try to get cataract and Iggy. all you got to do is go to a private match and test the ranges explosive payload fix is busted Sunshot, Rose and Nation of beast EXPLOSIVE PAYLOAD is 3 tapping from 40 m that is beyond igneous Hammer range and ammit hitting max crits from 38 meters

      I've only played one comp match so far and it did seem to be basically all about special ammo. Which some people are way more happy to go after than others. If there's going to be that much special ammo, double primary should feel viable at all times. That might actually keep everyone's feet on the ground. Its competitive and it looks like a mad dash money giveaway with the special ammo. Still need to play it more but other than that the mode change is nice even if it has to continue to change. It helps the mode feel less stagnant overall. 140 HC range and a couple other weapons (my choice would be 390 pulses and whatever auto that auto people like) might do well to just go ahead and be meta in that mode with similarized ranges and more similar but not completely similar playstyles. Explosive payload is interesting. I'm not sure if I'm going to even try losing with one of those but 140s and a similarly competitve pulse like 450s or 390s when they're buffed would probably attract the kind of people that mode wants to. I might not be saying it right but this game runs into trouble when it starts to differentiate too much and then also try to treat those differences the same. Its just making more work for the game than anyone or really the game can keep track of. This game will already always have the most different characters in lobbies as it is.

      • Actually EP is doing less since bungie has also found it annoying so more range can do about a good 81 actually on 140s that don’t have ep which is good for me

          • Lol been like this for ages! Handcannons and smgs shoot the same distance as a scout ….I mean it is destiny and you can’t take it seriously. Also the zero flitch on hand cannons is silly as well ….but what you gonna do
