Hello my fellow guardians,
I made a post here about an opinion I had about a gun, but due to the nature of the internet, I have to change this because the backlash is not worth it and I cannot find any way to delete this post. I still believe what I said and wish to have people discuss it, but it isn’t worth the harassment. If I could delete this post, I would.

Isn't hard to get precision kills with a scout rifle, now more than ever in this long range meta I had to get mine vs Handcannon/Shotty sweats And the cat isn't worth it, no distractions , never notice it -
you do not need a build, you just need to shoot your gun and play the gun’s range. hope this helps. i’m praying for more pvp requirements in this game’s content. the last real time we had a good quest step added to pvp was witherhoard catalyst, and in my opinion in order to get some of the better items in the game you should have to engage with every aspect of the game.

I have 750 kills on it and let me say, it's not worth it. Unless you're a completionist don't bother.

Mida was a 4 crit kill before, and is currently 3 crit 1 body up to t7 resiliance. So, in fact its more forgiving now. With 1x kinetic surge it will 3c 1b t10 resil. In fact, now it doesnt need to duel with snipers, which makes it slightly easier. You need to work its optimal performance range. Between 40 and about 60 meters is where it performs best. Outside of HC/Pulse/AR ranges, but inside of range dropoff. It can still work well around 30-40m, you just need to land all your shots and use cover and get the drop on the target before they can get you. Its a .9s optimal, and many weapons will have faster TTK inside of their optimal ranges, or have better peek shooting ability. Most 200 scouts will outrange it, and all 180/150 scouts will outrange it. You cant be TOO FAR away, but want to be just outside of Pulse/AR/120 HC ranges to duel with it. Thats where the speed bonuses come into play with the weapon. It allows you to move fast to rotate to a longer sightline to work its optimal range. Where many weapons you want to rotate on the shorter sightline path to keep within a lower range...
