On my other account when I needed one piece to be 1810 there is one thing I did. I went 4 weeks on my warlock not getting the one thing I needed. I saw that there is something on Neptune. I can't remember the name, but you need some key or something from a nimbus bounty to be able to access it I did it once on each character and got what I needed all times. I don't know if this is the case but it got me believing that it rewards what you need.
