[u]The Good[/u]: - The Event Activity looks fun and rewarding (hopefully numerous maps) - Most of the weapons are exciting with incredible rolls - The limited edition ornament is cool - Likely the return of Whisper and Zero Hour - Rocket jumping with Mountaintop - excellent, no notes [u]The Bad[/u]: - Time-gating (way to trip at the finish line Bungie) - Hung Jury - who asked for this a fourth time? - Recluse perks - nothing makes this standout with Master of Arms being so heavily nerfed. I get 50% was too much but 15-20% is not enough, 30% should be the minimum. It’s just Frenzy minus the reload speed at this point. The other perks are all combinations that are unexciting and currently available. - New Perk ‘Desperate Measures’ is basically Golden Tricorn [u]The Ugly[/u]: - Time-gating - Yes, this is ugly and bad - So much Void - Six of the twelve weapons are void. Four are Kinetic. Most of them are good but would anyone have cared if Elsies Rifle or Edge Transit were a different element? - Succession and Forbearance - especially with the upcoming Chain Reaction nerf. I get the idea of bringing raid weapons for those that don’t have the expansion or don’t do raids but without significant changes to their current, relevant perks, they seem redundant for vets. And no I don’t consider Desperate Measures or Disruption Break as valuable additions. How bout something like Voltshot and Slideshot on Forbearance? - All the weapons that could have been chosen instead of Hung Jury: Oxygen, Hush, Vestian Dynasty, Felwinters Lie, Uriel’s Gift, Sins of the Father. All of these choices would be the only representation for their archetype: Scout, Bow, Sidearm, Shotgun, Auto Rifle, and Rocket. Honestly would have taken them over Forbearance or Succession. I would have LOVED the return of Tlaloc from D1 downshifted to legendary instead of exotic. All in all, still pretty excited for the update but sure wish time-gating wasn’t a thing. Might just wait till all the weapons are out to actually play.
