When it comes to PvE Bungie will ban anyone that they “think” or know is cheating. PvP on the other hand it’s a different story. A very different story. I’ve watched repeated cheaters constantly terrorizing the game. I’ve watched it on stream with content creators who face the same cheaters over and again but nothing is ever done. It’s like Battle Eye was just a front to ease the PvP community but in fact it hasn’t done anything to make the game better. I’ll be happy if Sony takes over and take my chances because the peer to peer system has failed to a point that broken isn’t even nice to say about it. Dedicated servers, mods that constantly monitor the game and feedback would be the best thing that could happen but… all we get are excuses. Sony has been disappointed with the direction because of the higher ups at Bungie which after they try to push a half assed game called Marathon comes out will gladly exit the company with their extravagant bonuses. We deserve better after all the hours, the grind for for recycled weapons and the little effort except when their asses are on the line. All of this “new content” isn’t new but something that should have been new in the game. I do not hold the devs, those who are responsible for the awesome scenery or stories responsible because they are doing everything expected of them and more. I hold those in charge responsible for the screw ups, the lack of good content and the lack of communication responsible because they have been not only thought of themselves but thrown those responsible for such a unique and fun game under the bus. Maybe things will get better but as it stands those in charge have proven themselves not worthy so who knows. I really hope Final Shape is good. So I guess we will see.
