First of all, Into the Light looks awesome. It’s got a fun looking activity, a loot system similar to Dares of Eternity and has the focusing of Menagerie. Perfect foundation, hard to mess up. However, some the loot is a little questionable. Succession - ? Forbarence -? Luna’s Howl - sure Mountaintop - fine Recluse - of course Midnight Coup - HELL YEAH Blast Furnace - also hell yes Hammerhead - also yes Edge Transit - lmao Falling Guillotine - sure Stranger’s Rifle - why was this not perfect paradox And Hung -blam!- ing Jury AGAIN The year 2 pinnacle weapons, the black armory weapons, falling guillotine and my baby Midnight Coup all make sense and I’m happy that they’re back. All extremely memorable and sought after, hell, even Edge transit being on the list was kinda funny, and I’m sure it’ll be insane with the crazy perk combos they teased. However, WTF were you guys thinking the raid weapons? And why THOSE raid weapons? Where’s Atheon’s epilogue? Black hammer?Succession and forbearance are already craftable anyways…. The stranger’s rifle honestly is….weird. We already have NTE but now we have this? You understand they look and sound EXACTLY THE SAME, yes? This could have easily been Perfect Paradox, and I’m blown away that it wasn’t. And last and least, hung jury. Bungie, Hung Jury was popular back in destiny 1 because scout rifles were GOOD in destiny 1, and Hung Jury was one of the few that rolled firefly. Because you’ve released it FOUR times now, it’s no longer special, it’s just another oversaturated D2 weapon with all the nostalgia sucked out of it. You guys were clueless when you put this on the list. Again, why wasn’t this an OG D2 weapon like Dust Rock Blues, Bygones, Go Figure? Where the hell’s Sins of the Past? If you really wanted to go the extra mile, you could have modeled a arc auto rifle after Zhalo Supercell and put voltshot on it, like you obviously should have lmao. But whatever. Good event it would seem so far, thank you for making this free.
