Asked for birthday and then started me from the beginning like it was day 1
Play on PlayStation. Tried to login. Asked to put in birthday. I did. It assigned me a Bungie name and asked me to create a new character to start. I don't want to start over. Why can't I log in on my character with 2200 hours of play on it? How do I get my character back?

A post from another player who has experienced the issue and is now able to access their characters as normal: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/263778799/0/0 Others who have said they have made new characters in place of missing ones still have their old characters and progress visible in the app, but it’s best to not create a new character just to be safe.
