I found some info from a mentor on the forums they had confirmed some amount of accessibility macro is ok but not things that impact things like aim assist, or super complicated series (I’m guessing like well skate?). I’m hoping someone can confirm with BNGSecurity or that they just publish more clear guidelines. Not having to double b to dodge and the like would be a huge quality of life improvement I just don’t want to get banned!

Bungie security will never tell us what exactly is and isn't allowed as this could put their security at great risk. You're allowed to use accessibility tools but abuse of them will lead to a game ban. Mentors/moderators are just members of the community like you and me they do not work for Bungie, so their information could be incorrect. Only Bungie security knows exactly what is and isn't allowed. It's a case of use at your own risk. If you get banned, you're banned forever. Review the ban policy below. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049517431-Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies -
Honestly I appreciate the input. I hadn’t really thought about security risks from bad actors. Still hoping someone official chimes in but I’m not holding my breath. I have a hard time with double press vs long press and I often phoenix dive when I want to Icarus dash, so the prospect of those being on different paddles would help a lot, but I really don’t want a ban! Been playing too long. I’ve poured over that link so many times and it’s tough because you can argue all accessibility gives an advantage, even if it just helps me not ruin the raid run and make everyone mad :)
Still hoping someone official chimes
They won't. The only answer you're going to get is to review the ban policy I provided. Nobody from Bungie is going to answer this for security reasons and nobody outside Bungie can say exactly what is and isn't allowed. The ban policy is the only information the community has access to in terms of what isn't allowed. You're welcome.
